Was decent rooms nice and clean however stunk of **** through the 3rd floor and they minimise staff with self checkin which is good cos you can just check in and out quickly however having no service desk does make enquiring about gym and pool difficult. Overall pleasant stay

We got an amazing welcome from Andre he was so helpful and even though we arrived 1 and a half hours early for check in he got us sorted no problem and as we were staying with our son too he managed to get us our two rooms facing each other so professional and a really nice guy couldn't of done enough for us, the hotel overall was great fantastic bar staff friendly and helpful and the food was great too 👍

Avoid this hotel if you plan on sleeping through the night. Potentially the worst night’s sleep i have ever had in any hotel, definitely the worst experience in any Village Hotel. We booked a family room for a 2 night stay. We were put in a room above the aerobics studio. Why they put family rooms here i do not understand? But onto that later. The room was roasting hot and the Air Con system has no instructions and is very difficult to work out. I had to download the manual online just to find out how to cool the room below 23 degrees. Eventually i got it going but it took ages. The room is fine and what you’d normally expect from a Village Hotel. Fairly well decorated, albeit dark and with no “Big Light” or spotlights in the room, just 2 dimly lit bedside lamps. Bathroom was actually decent, large and with a Bathtub and separate shower cubicle. Can’t fault that at all. The HUGE issue with this place is the absolute racket constantly plaguing the hotel rooms! The Gym is obnoxiously loud, playing thumping EDM until very late in to the night. It was literally on par with sleeping at a festival. The bass rattles through the walls and my baby could not sleep a wink because of this, nor could myself or my partner. It must have gone on until 11pm both nights. Yet again in the mornings just after 6am we were awoken by very loud music and a mic’d up PT shouting words of encouragement to the gym members. This place definitely puts gym goers first and hotel patrons last. I would avoid at all costs and would never ever stay here again

A great hotel, staff were amazingly helpful and polite. The room whilst small was very comfortable and the bed amazingly so. It also had a very nice bathroom. The architecture was also lovely. We also got to use the pool and spa all to ourselves. All I would say is that if you plan to stay on a Friday night you might want to ask for a room where the sound of club music in the basement is less audible. For me it wasn’t a problem as a music lover, the rhythmic sounds of the music actually sent me to sleep.

Very comfortable and good hotel with all basic necessities available in the hotel. It’s a great location with everything nearby from Starbucks to Sainsbury supermarket to a great pub. The staff were very helpful and provided the family with great service.

Great place to stay with very helpful staff! After a long night of travelling we had paid extra for early check in. Upon our arrival, we met Andre the manager. He was very kind and understanding and not only let us check in early for free but upgraded our room as well! The rooms are very comfortable, great pool and very relaxing hot tub! Would definitely stay again.

Overall we really enjoyed this hotel. The aesthetics of it were great and it was super clean and comfortable. My only criticism is that the staff in the restaurant aren’t the most helpful. We stood around waiting for service multiple times (as did other guests). We even ordered room service and I had to go down and ask about it bec it didn’t show up more than 1/2 hour after its expected time. They had to reorder it and finally delivered it to our room. The breakfast was great the first morning we had it, but the 2nd day they started clearing everything out early.
