INNSiDE by Meliá Braga Centro

The coffee machine in the morning was not working properly and when I took my drink my shirt became all dirty. I explained when made the checkout and the only thing I heard was we will contact the breakfast team to repair it. The front desk never said sorry or thank you for letting us know or even to leave the shirt there that they could clean it! Nothing. The hotel is well located but the staff from the front desk… not good!

Lovely hotel, convenient location in the heart of Braga. Room very comfy (bed slightly in the hard side) but then again preferential. I used gym and spa facility (on the small side again) but does the job. Would highly recommend. Good value for money

Disappointing stay. Aircon keeps tripping, housekeeping came after 4pm, service very slow. Room service number on phone was wrong, should have informed us during check-in. Only good thing is bed is very comfortable and slept really well. New hotel that is quite busy and they need to sort out teething issues to impress guests.

The location was perfect for easy access to the historic center. Everyone at the hotel was friendly and helpful. Morning breakfasts provided a full array of food to meet everyone’s needs and the couple of times we ate our evening meals there, our food selections were delicious. Our room delivered in that it was quiet, had a great bed, balcony access, shower was fabulous and necessary space for the two of us. We parked our rental with the underground garage attached to the hotel- clean, secure and easy access. At this writing 15 euros a day. Highly recommend this hotel!

We’d actually booked another hotel in Braga to break up the journey during our trip to the algarve from the uk, however we have 2 dogs with us and when we arrived they had a ‘no pets’ policy. Our mistake! So, a quick search, and we found INNSiDE by Melia, and were so glad we did!! From the welcoming and seamless check in, through to room service (delicious), breakfast (excellent buffet selection) the gym, pool and facilities, we felt like we were valued and welcomed guests. It’s in a great location in the centre of Braga, and has a lovely outdoor pool, which, being January, we weren’t able to try. The rooms are perfect, clean and functional with a calming aesthetic, and we can’t recommend this hotel enough. Thanks to all of the fabulous staff, and a special thanks to the lady on reception who always had a smile, the bar person who was super accommodating, and the cleaning lady that cleaned up with a smile (helping assuage the embarrasment) after one of the (elderly) dogs had an accident on his way out for his morning ‘walk’.
