Feldon Valley

Myself and my husband have just returned home from a 2 night stay at feldon valley. We stayed in oak 10 a beautiful suite over lookingthe golf course. Staff were friendly and attentive nothing was to much trouble. Food was tasty and fresh. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend this beautiful place and will definitely return as soon as I can.

Really enjoyed our stay here. The accommodation is divided between the main lodge which is essentially hotel rooms, reception, a very comfortable seating area plus tables and chairs with large tv which is on all day a log fire and a limited bar. Outside are wooden lodges accessed by a board walk. Breakfast and other meals are taken in a separate building which is also the meeting place for the golfers. Downstairs is a small golf shop. We stayed in the main lodge and our room was immaculate. Large comfortable bed and shower only. No tvs but this wasn't missed. The floor to ceiling window looking onto the golf course could be opened with a safety glass panel in front of the window to prevent mishaps. My only adverse comment is that a fly screen would be appreciated as even though this was early season we were pestered by bugs. Take an electronic bat! Breakfast was very healthy with an array of fruits. Homemade granola overnight oats but no other cereals. Cooked food available too. An inspired chef cooked the evening meal. Thank you as we ate both nights and really enjoyed the food. No pub grub here although the inevitable burger and fish and chips were available. A thoroughly enjoyable two days in an unusual setting staffed by friendly staff who genuinely seemed to enjoy their jobs. Even a chap raking the stones in the car park. Certainly would return to this part of the country and can highly recommend The Lodges.

Everything is just wonderful.

We had a lovely couples stay and because it was our anniversary we had a complimentary glass of Prosecco which was a nice surprise! The grounds are lovely, we went to the restaurant for breakfast which was delicious. The room was a big size with lots of space and was very clean. It is far away from other villages in the Cotswolds so will need a car.

The hotel is lovely and new and well kept. The golf club house was the same looks lovely and new with a great selection of food on offer
