Kay and josh need to be promoted lucky to have them attention to detail amazing staff like that don’t come along often from a hospitality owner. Lovely bar/ restaurant nice and clean great staff and great staff and great staff and staff and great staff.

Highly approachable helpful staff, a good menue, convenience in location, more than adequate car parking facilities. Our thanks to all the staff.

Well situated in town centre and free parking for residents, although that isn't explained on the car park signs. Very clean, good service, nice restaurant with good selection for dinner and breakfast. Only issue was our room slightly noisy as over the smoking area but would visit again

We booked 9 rooms as we attended a wedding locally. We informed the hotel that there would be at least 12 of us breakfast the next morning. It’s a shame that the service at breakfast overshadowed anything good of our stay at this hotel. It was like a scene out of Fawlty Towers. On the positives the beds were comfortable, the sheets and towels clean but the hotel desperately needs a face lift. The position of the hotel is good in relation with the town. The seating cushions were suspiciously stained as if someone had urinated on them and the foam was hanging out at the ends. There was one main heroic waitress taking orders, taking payments, delivering food to the tables, dealing with complaints. The continental breakfast was majorly lacking basics such as cups, saucers, cutlery, butter, yogurt, pastries and funnily enough, ran out of tea by 9:30. We had to keep asking and stood and waited for ages for someone to bring one item at a time instead of replenishing the lack of stock. We placed our hot food orders and 3/4 of an hour later when breakfast hadn’t arrived we started to ask how long it would take. There were other guests (not in our party) who were in the same predicament, but cancelled orders and left to find somewhere else to eat. Our party needed to eat and start our long journeys home all over the UK. Finally after reassurance by the waitress that the hot breakfast was coming soon, almost 1 hour later our breakfasts started to arrive. The orders were coming to the tables incorrect, with scrambled eggs rather than fried, no beans in the vegetarian breakfast and other problems. We had waited so long and the waitress was rushed off her feet, we just didn’t have the heart to send the food back and wait again for it to come back correctly. We all left very unhappy and stressed. We thanked the waitress because she had worked really hard.

The White Hart is a lovely place to stay . Scott has a great team working with him to keep standards of service high . It's friendly , and very welcoming. Bedrooms are comfortable and clean . The food was of a high standard , service was faultless. Overall experience definitely wants me to visit again . Well done

The rooms in the extension are basic and noisy when there are parties on downstairs in the main hotel. But very friendly, and clean.

Went here for a Mothers Day meal, and had a lovely time. Laura, our waitress, was friendly, efficient and very attentive. It is lovely to have someone who makes going out for a meal a pleasure. Top marks for Laura 👍🏻. The food was lovely, well presented and tasty. Will be going back in the future for another meal.

Just had a fantastic mother's day meal thank you Grace for outstanding service. The 3 courses were totally amazing. Freshly cooked and presentation was second to none. I had prawns and avocado then salmon with all the trimmings followed by warm chocolate fudge cake. I cannot fault a thing. The restaurant was welcoming and clean , very impressive thank you to the staff , and to the chef WOW first class x

Great event night. 80s theme dinner and disco. Food choice suited everyone. service and staff all were friendly and the whole experience was great. Good value for money for a night out and communication during booking process was easy and efficient
