Branson Victorian Inn

Beautiful on outside, prison like on inside. Non- smoking room obviously smoked in, nothing fancy, very outdated, don’t even get a blanket. Bed just has top sheets, had to get my own blanket out of car. Room obviously not thoroughly cleaned as there was still trash under bed from previous guest. We arrived late and were just too tired to keep searching for a different place. Rate is low, so obviously you get what you pay for.

The sign out front that said “Hiring Housekeepers” should have been our first clue. This place was FILTHY. **********, dirty shower curtain, dirt piled up in every corner. UGH. If it hadn’t been late at night, we would have left. While the location was easy to find, you should keep looking!

We drove from Iowa and checked in. We was putting our 3yr old down and he was crying cause he didn't want to sleep. Lady told us to get out, proceeded to call cops, wouldn't give me my money back. Kicked us out at 1am with my kids with nowhere to go cause I don't want to drive all the way back to Iowa through the night with my 4 kids and wife. She was yelling at my wife saying we need to get out and take out brat kids with us. I never will recommend this trash motel. The staff are rude and will kick you out if you have kids and won't give you back your money.

First of all, there is no one in the office. There is a sign on the door with a number to call to check in. Apparently, the same group is managing the Stratford House next door, as that is where the attendant came from. The pictures shown on this site in no way resemble the room we had. It was about as basic as you can get. There's no door to the bathroom. There was no clothes rod, only a shelf. The mirror above the sink is only useful for anyone over 6 ft. tall. The floor was dirty. That breakfast area in the pictures - nope - coffee, honey buns and dunkin sticks in a basket next door. When we returned back to the room on our second day, there had been no service - only fresh towels left. It appears they may be doing some much needed renovations. I would not recommend this facility until it is greatly upgraded.
