Whispering Hills was good. The room was clean, the breakfast was good, not at all like the pictures of the food or the “hospitality” room it’s in. Wow! I feel like the hotel website needs to be updated in a desperate way. The pictures of things were not at all what reality was. They also advertise an evening dessert buffet and when we checked in and asked about that, their response was, we no longer do that for this season. I said, what season will you start that back up? Their response, we don’t know. We no longer have that right now. Me, hmmmmm. Your website clearly says you do. His response 😳😳😳. Just be honest!!!! That’s all I have for you!

We got this room for a bargain on a travel site. It was fine for what we paid. It is an old motel so it was pretty noisy. You could hear people above walking at times and when they walked by on the outside walkway, you could both hear and feel it. The kingsize bed was very soft, probably from wear, but there were no springs or anything that made it uncomfortable. Clean accommodations. Breakfast was a buffet of scrambled eggs, a meat that was already empty at 9:30 so I didn't get any, canned sausage gravy (not very good), fried potatoes (soggy), waffle maker, 5 kinds of cereal, and yogurt. Worth it for a bargain and for a short stay. The young Indian couple was very pleasant and friendly too.

Another stay at the Whispering Hills Inn and won't be the last. Every time we stay here, we feel at home. Everyone is always so friendly and kind, and the hotel is always clean. The breakfast and late-night snacks are delicious and we appreciate the extras.

The grounds and building was well kept! We only ate breakfast once but it was good. Also the evening dessert was a nice treat.

Room smelled musty, shower room ceiling water damaged and paint peeling, cracks in tiles and walls. Stayed 2 nights. First night the sheets on the bed were musty. Second night they were fresh.

Rooms were very very clean. The breakfast was very good. Some parking was on a hill. Not good for older people.

The room had no heat, which they swapped rooms but the mattress was completely worn out. The toilet base was loose and rocked badly. The breakfast was the best part of my stay.

Our stay at Whispering Hills was not great. Our room was filthy and had several issues, including mold and mildew. I was overcharged for my room, and when I called to ask about it, they were going to look into it and call me back, I never received a call back. Due to the condition of our room, after we left my husband was sick for almost 2 weeks. I sneezed every day we were there, but my sneezing stopped once we checked out. The only positive thing I can say about our stay was that the front desk staff was friendly.
We will never stay there again and I wouldn’t recommend that hotel to anyone. We reported the issues to the staff, so hopefully they will get it taken care of. We would have checked out and went somewhere else, but it everywhere was booked due to it being a super busy season.
