Trip was nice for a first time there. Put in a request to fix the fan for the stay and a technician left a card but never came around to fixing it so couldn’t use the fan (light worked) so it got toasty and so we spent most of the day out to avoid going back to the room except to sleep. Also asked about fixing the A/C but also no one ever got around to it… service at the Versailles restaurant was great and good service, had a few wine tastings book and Kai was one of the servers and I believe Ashley was as well and they were great and made up for the experience but I did have a few serves during the wine tasting that essentially pushed us out as quickly as possible as if they didn’t “want us there” so it was off putting sense the last two days had similar service. I stayed in the Spa and the amenities were great and the staff was very helpful. The property was marvelous and beautiful but even with all the great things this place have to offer it lacks in the simplistic things such as communication. Not to say I wouldn’t visit again because I’m a big golfer and my significant other enjoys wine and so will definitely come back and try the golfing for sure but just small things I wish were different.

Called to let them know I wouldn’t be arriving until early next morning. When I arrived my room wasn’t ready and they charged me for the night. When I asked to speak to someone at the front desk they said no - call back later

The property is nice! I would not say the service and amenities are on par with similar priced properties I have stayed at recently.

I took my 80 year old mother here for 3 nights for some R&R! We wanted a close drive (2.5 hrs for us), a Spa and a nice pool. Once we found Chateau Elan and it also had a winery it was a double bonus. It was exactly what we were hoping for and more. The Spa was lovely, all the restaurants were great, the winery was fun, but it was the staff that was a Fabulous Surprise. Every employee we interacted with were amazing. Everyone was so positive and friendly. They would go out of their way to talk to you and ask how your day was going and if we needed anything. They all acted happy to be there and made us feel like special guests. (and we were just regular jo's) I have been places where you hated to ask for something because you never knew who or what reaction from them you would get. Not here....they were all Nice!!! We didn't go for the golf but we got a tour of the property from Mark and he showed us all around and the 4 golf courses looking beautiful! The winery was really lovely and we had fun doing the wine tastings. The wine isn't the best wine that I have had but it is Georgia not Napa. Good enough to enjoy the whole experience! If you want a lovely, relaxing trip with mom's or girl friends this is the place to go. There were pleny of couples there but I can't wait to revisit with my Besties!

Chateau Elan has gone from a once amazing resort to a money-grabbing hotel. We had many issues with the ultimate insult being a 3% surcharge because we used a credit card.

I had the best time enjoying the amenities at the Spa. I spent the entire day basking in the peace and solitude, relaxing and taking advantage of all the amenities that were offered. I especially loved the champagne and the snacks throughout the day, as well as the attention given to me by the friendly and courteous staff.

We chose to indulge ourselves on our way to a business meeting in a nearby GA town. Nice property but doesn't seem to live up to other I preferred properties. Now, I see other have commented on cleanliness. The room seems to gather dust leaving a musty smell. You have to request housekeeping which for the price is ridiculous. Tissues low in bathroom. Only one small trash can, no recycling. You have to call for prices on mini bar. Getting into parking area was chaotic. On a positive, Paddy’s was great. It's the most convenient for a quick bite. Other restaurants were not open when we were ready for a meal. Shuttle service was excellent. Valet service was good, too. Golf Course was okay, but nothing special. Agree with the fact it is not worth the price nor the star ratings.
