Lovely hotel, centrally located with friendly staff. Rooms are quite dated but the beds are very big. Breakfast is more than adequate and has good selections. Hotel is also helpful to arrange local tours. As it's based on the main square, it's perfect for all local attractions.

Very pleasant hotel and garden and very friendly and helpful staff, it is not directly in the old city but very close and easy walk. I would stay there anytime I return to the area.

This hotel is perfectly located, however, it is very unsafe for seniors or people with any special needs as there are uneven stairs, and the rooms are not well appointed. The breakfast was OK and stuff were friendly enough, yet the property only really deserves a three star due to these concerns. Regarding the location of the hotel is absolutely perfect.

This is tricky. On the one hand, this place has a perfect location right by Brasov's main square, which means that you are close to the action in the city. Moreover, our room was huge, clean and unique (it had a wood burning stove, for instance). In addition, the staff was very friendly and the breakfast was very good. Parking was offered at another hotel, 5-10 min away from Safrano, for a fee. My issue with this place was sleeping comfort. First of all, our room did not have AC, which meant that the room got very hot. Management tried to alleviate the pain by putting in a fan, but unfortunately it was not sufficient. Also, the bed itself had seen its best days. It was way too soft for me. As a result, I did not sleep many hours the only night we stayed there. It's a pity, because I really liked everything else about the hotel. Then again, if I can't sleep, I can't give my stay a passing grade.

Great location overlooking the old town square. Very helpful staff allowed early arrival and an early weekend breakfast before our tour. Room 3 was a little noisy, less from the street than from the window to the courtyard with other rooms close by. We never had hot water for the shower, it only became warm after several minutes.

Das perfekt am grossen Platz, 3 Minuten zu Fuss von der schwarzen Kirche entfernt gelegene Hotel Safrano Palace bietet zur Strasse hinaus grosse, klassisch elegant eingerichtete Zimmer. Viele Steckdosen mit deutschen Steckdosen, Kronleuchter an der Decken; im Zimmer 3 breiter, aber schmaler Balkon auf den grossen Platz hinaus garantieren, nebst freundlichem Personal, einen schönen Urlaub.

We enjoyed our one night stay at Safrano Palace - the location is superb, right on the main plaza, Piata Sfatului. You could also see the hotel from the White Tower which is sitting right above it. The breakfast was great with many choices of food including Romanian traditional food. The room was enormous with a giant bathroom - it really felt like a palace. The only downside is the walkway to the rooms - after you enter the lobby, you need to walk through the open air hall with grey walls which reminded us somewhat of US motels. I think if the management paints it with different color or spruces it up a bit, it would really improve the vibe. This definitely didn't detract us from enjoying our stay in this wonderful city!
