Travelodge by Wyndham Brattleboro VT

Building looked like a war zone, bathroom electricity went off, sink would not drain. No one was at the front desk to complain to. Was supposed to get continental breakfast. There was none. Again, no one at desk (nor was phone answered) to complain to! Room floor and bedding was clean and neat.

HORROR The Worst! Filthy, discussing, Crack users in the parking lot! Used to be my go-to , NOT Anymore! Manager was A TOTAL AH, we checked in the bathroom door was hanging off the hinge and the room was filled with Flies! I asked for another room and he said, there is other Hotels up the street! ***!! This needs to be shut down!!

This former Motel 6 has been renovated and modernized. The bed was firm and comfortable; the modern lighting over the sink and the new fixtures made the place seem up-to-date. The wi-fi worked well. Overall, a good place for an overnight stay.

The owner came back after a vacation and doubled charged our cards in addition to the "pet fee" when it clearly stated online "pets stay for free" When confronted nothing was done and an additional 15 dollar charge appeared on our account. This guy is a scammer and disrespectful. Hung up on us twice. Do not go here!

Service was terrible. Rooms are dingy. The Indian manager was screaming at guests and employees. He double charged my card and refuses to give my money back. He hung up on me when I tried calling to resolve the issue. Very unpleasant. And never tried to accommodate me or make my visit a better experience so i would come back. The long term living there are ou5 back. Drug dealers in and out.

We had reservations for one night. They were made in August. In September I called to change the date to October. I called the motel on the night before we were to leave to make sure our room was on the ground level as we had 2 dogs with us. I was assured that all was well. However when we arrived we were told that our reservation had been cancelled that morning because there was no credit card on file. Our original reservations was for a room with 2 beds at a price of $111. We were then offered a room with one bed at a price of $306. I never got a response to my question of why I wasn't asked about the "missing credit card number".

Dirty, loud, gouging price, substandard. Smoky rooms, no good food nearby. Have never stayed in such a place in my life, but there were no other rooms available. Drive to New Hampshire to sleep. No breakfast, worn towels.

Hotel was under construction which didn't bother us. New beds do not have box springs and were very uncomfortable. Dirty floors turned our socks brown. Bathroom was filthy with clumps of hair on the floor.

The property is undergoing remodeling. It was unclear if the room supplied was remodeled or awaiting remodeling. The room had no dresser or closet and rod and no chair or light for the desk. The room was inadequate and staff was sparsely attentive.
