Amazing
GGuest UserThe location is okay, but the entrance is a bit small and being close to the road feels a little risky. Breakfast was just so-so, and the afternoon tea selection was quite limited. On the plus side, there's a free minibar available.

Ssunny1029The hotel was beautifully decorated for Christmas Eve! The room wasn't huge, but it was well-equipped, clean, and the service was excellent – great value for money. The entire hotel has a French-inspired architectural style, with a warm and romantic white main theme. Because of this, I've even booked MGallery hotels for my upcoming trip to Australia. My only minor regret was being assigned a lower floor. I hope my trips to Melbourne and Sydney go well!
GGuest UserThe hotel’s location is very central and convenient, making it easy to access nearby attractions and amenities. The cleanliness and room facilities met our expectations. The staff service was excellent, especially Concierge WY, who was very helpful and professional. It would be even better if the room rate included breakfast.

Great
LLML and travelStayed here recently and overall had a pleasant experience, though there are a few areas that could be improved.
Pros:
• The location is very accessible and convenient, with many eateries and restaurants nearby.
• The rooms are very clean and the staff are helpful and friendly.
• Good facilities including a yoga room, gym, and a self-service laundry. Do note that the laundry operates only from 9am to 9pm, as the staff switch off the electricity supply afterward. This is understandable since Room 1103 is located right outside the laundry room, and the machines could be quite noisy for guests if they ran late into the night.
Cons:
• Soundproofing could be better — I could hear music coming from a neighboring room.
• Road noise can be noticeable due to honking, and there was some sort of event on Sunday morning which made it difficult to sleep in.
• I booked a Deluxe Balcony City View room, but there was no desk or study table, which made it difficult to do even simple work while in the room.
Overall, it’s a clean and conveniently located place with good facilities, but better soundproofing and a workspace in the room would improve the stay.
AAnonymous UserThis century-old hotel truly has character! You can feel the Saigon of a hundred years ago.
While the rooms aren't brand new, they are very comfortable. I booked a king room and the bed was huge!
The hotel breakfast was delightful, see the pictures below. The freshly made pho and baguettes were both delicious.
The location is excellent, you can walk everywhere.

VVictor HankIs very 5 star hotel and service is very high class. The room is also very clean. However, the room is abit squeezy but overall is good experience. One night SGD 160 is quite reasonable. The concierge team is very experience and friendly in helping us find a 24 hour clinic. The view at floor 25 is really good. They have an infinity pool at the rooftop which can see the whole of HCMC cityview.
AAileenzscThe room was clean, tidy, spacious, and very comfortable. The front desk staff were warm, attentive, and thoughtful, and the bellhop was incredibly helpful with our luggage! The breakfast had fresh and delicious fruit, and a great variety of vegetable and meat dishes, an excellent choice! The location is superb, right by Ho Chi Minh Square.

Very Good
TTraveler1048It was a very nice room and very good service but the amenities most of them atleast were closed the day I went so I couldn’t enjoy what I came for overall if everyhting is open you will have a wonderful time here
VVilMy stay at Rivergate Central was fairly straightforward, though the check-in process was a little unconventional compared to typical hotels. Instead of a front desk, I had to WhatsApp the provided number, and a staff member came down to meet me at the lobby. That said, the response was quick and efficient, so it didn’t feel inconvenient.
One thing to note is their rule regarding luggage — if you’re carrying any, you’re required to use the service lift. It’s a bit unusual, so it’s good to be aware of this beforehand to avoid any confusion.
The room itself was simple and cosy, equipped with basic amenities like a microwave, fridge, and sink. It’s not luxurious, but it does the job for a short stay. Cleanliness was decent overall, though nothing particularly standout.
Checkout was very fuss-free. All I had to do was take a photo of the key and send it to the group chat they added me to, and that was it.
Overall, a no-frills stay with a unique system — suitable if you’re looking for something simple and efficient.
LLon S.The Zen rooms here at this hotel are anything but. I guess they needed to find a name for their really small rooms with no windows that have the toilet and the shower on the same open closet together. Having your morning shower looking down at the hotel toilet has a way of creating a day dream that is far from zen.
The hotel itself however, is immaculate and clean from the lobby to the rooms. It has a nice post modernistic design in the hotel, however the outside street at around 9pm transforms into a post apocalyptic, red light district (XXX). The streets are crawling with short skirted young girls propositioning men to deals. If that's your thing, this hotel might work great for you.
The restaurant has 1/5 service. Food was 4/5 and amazing... but not once was i asked ”how is everything”, or ”can I get you anything else”. Very low scoring on the restaurant service and training of staff in the Restaurant. Also, the restaurant is located in the basement of the building. Weird feeling eating in basements.
