We had a fantastic time at the Lodge at Breckenridge (Breck). The views are the best in town facing all five ski mountains in addition to several other peaks (we even confirmed this by checking out the other Breck resorts). We had a mountain view room and couldn’t tear our eyes away from the view, it was so heavenly. Our room was large with a couch and gas fireplace, which was in use every minute we were in the room (great ambiance). There is a Keurig coffee machine in the room with coffees and teas, a refrigerator, and water and trail mix were provided upon our check-in. The Lodge is awesome with large timbers and a lobby fireplace that is great to sit around when the fire was blazing. The staff is amazing - so friendly and accommodating. Garrett at the front desk was super informative and helpful. We spoke with him so much, by the end of our trip he felt like a friend. Myles our server at Traverse, the Lodge restaurant, was also very attentive and helpful. We have food restrictions (gluten free and pescatarian) and Myles and the chef accommodated our needs with no fuss and delicious outcomes. We ate all of our breakfasts and dinners at Traverse and were very happy with our meals. The views from Traverse were spectacular and we highly recommend that you at least have a drink or a meal there when in Breck. The Lodge has a free van service that takes hotel guests into town. We didn’t use it but it was a nice option to have. The town of Breckenridge is our favorite with its charming downtown and ski vibe. There are many eateries, bars and stores with lots of character. I hated to leave when our trip was over but grabbed a Lodge wedding brochure on my way out for my daughter. The Lodge looks like a fantastic place to host a wedding, with plenty of accommodations and the town of Breck as a fun playground for guests. We will be back!!
