Crystal Peak Lodge, A Vail Resorts Property

The lodge is in a great setting close to the lifts. Rooms are spacious, clean, and plenty of amenities. Staff was very friendly. One hot tub was under construction. Main area on the lodge seemed dated. Rated lower because there were some maintenance issues. Box fan, window in bedroom, and bathroom door lock did not work.

Really disappointing check-in experience, especially for the price point. After traveling all day with my family and young daughter, we arrived at the lobby around 6:00 PM only to find it closed with a sign directing us to check in at One Ski Hill. We drove to One Ski Hill, and that lobby was also closed with another sign directing us to River Mountain Lodge. After going back down the mountain, we then waited around 30 minutes while the front desk staff had to be walked through how to check us in. In total, what should have been a simple check-in turned into a frustrating hour-long process with multiple locations, poor communication, and no smooth handoff. My daughter was tired and crying, and we were exhausted from travel. For a hotel/resort at this price, this level of disorganization is unacceptable. The staff member was polite, but the system and process were very poorly handled. Guests should not be sent from location to location after a full travel day, especially when paying premium rates.

Excellent room, very clean, and we loved how spacious it was, we especially loved the main bathroom.

Stayed here for the fall foliage. Beautiful lodges and the facilities are great. The shuttle service was a huge benefit to get into town. My only complaint is to the condo itself, 7008 in crystal lodge. The one shower door was falling off the hinge so we didnt use that shower at all. And it was very warm inside, like 80F with no heat on, so we had to keep the windows open.

Room was great! Amazing location. Humidifier in the room.

The bed was comfortable and the shower was good. Those were the only two good things about this unit. All of the furniture was worn out to the point of being uncomfortable. The carpeting was stained and worn. The window blinds and screens were broken. The windows would not close. This was a very neglected unit.

Property is fine, however, our room had broken AC, the TV's didn't work. The 2 windows that actually worked didn't have screens, and the patio door screen was broken. The fireplace didn't turn off, and the bedroom light didn't work.

Nothing like sitting on your patio eating breakfast and seeing the mountain and the forest. we really enjoyed it.

Everything was good. The oven was a bit dangerous though.
