Gold Point Resort Breckenridge by Vacatia

Always enjoyable. Very spacious, worth every penny. Made simple suggestions to the property for simple conveniences, will see at our next stay if they took our suggestion :)

Gold Point Condos are awesome. Just a few minutes up Baldy Mountain road from Breck at 10K feet. Condos are very comfortable, but maintenance isn’t up to par. Kitchen floor is patched and uneven (wear shoes); bedroom window doesn’t close properly; and oven door seal is gone (open outside door when using). That said, the unit was very clean and comfortable and I will stay again.

Really I guess it depends how demanding you are. This was a summer trip to Breckenridge and the resort had everything we needed. It's a couple miles from downtown and the ski slopes so that could be an issue if you're going to ski. There is free bus service at the end of the resort driveway. The place was clean and I don't really have any complaints.

Great staff with adequate amenities for our needs. Just minutes to downtown Breck with a free bus stop in front of property.

Disappointing stay due to sleep quality, mattress too soft and had a dip that felt like you were sleeping in a hole.

Misrepresented nightly rate. Wants guest to take out trash and do dishes on top of a $160 cleaning fee. That theft. Trying to find the place is a challenge the address given is the wrong driveway. Have to go to another address to check in. Don’t waste your money

We had an amazing spring ski week. The lodging was a plus. I recommend the one bedroom with the front balcony facing Breckenridge ski area. One could sit on the balcony in the afternoon and enjoy the mountain air and views for hours. The sunsets were stunning. The spacious interior is very well appointed and roomy. The furnishings are clean and new. The carpet is clean. Extra towels are in the closet. There is even laundry detergent under the sink if you need to us the washer and drryer that is in the unit. The spring time rates are reasonable. We especially liked being on the other side of the valley from Breckenridge ski area. There are thousands of lodgings right by the lifts and down town, but being 15 minutes or less from the ski area was delightful, as it gave us a lot of space and peace and quiet. We enjoy morning and evening walks on quiet roads. Instead of being among thousands of other condos, we were among the trees. There are free shuttles to town and to the ski lifts.

Nice place to stay if you desire to be out of town and have a quiet remote location with a nice view of the ski mountain. The units are large, well stocked and maintained. Additional towels would be nice for a unit that sleeps 10 they were somewhat limited and there was no laundry exchange during the week. The HOA fees are higher than they should be for this type of unit.
