The hotel is not in the center, have a car o trasportation if needed. The restaurant was out of servicie the weekend i went, and there is Just one close by, so, few options around. Also the sign for not to clean the room was hanging and they did not care, they cleaned anyway, i jad to ask them to leave but they dont speak english, so they stayed till i call the reception. By the way, people at the front desk were kindy and very communicative, always smiling and friendly. The pool area was good and clean. The stay was ok, but i think relation price - quiality was ok

The words themselves are kind, but they do not show any will to actively improve things that are broken or not working. The TV wasn't working so I tried to call Lip Session, but the phone didn't work either. The repairman came and fixed the TV, but couldn't fix the phone. They said they couldn't order room service because they couldn't make phone calls, so they told me to order delivery since room service wouldn't be available for the time being. Later, I heard that the sleeper sofa didn't work, so they initially made a reservation for 2 people and gave me a broken sleeper sofa. When I requested a room change, I was told that it would be difficult because all rooms were full. I'm not sure how much I can trust what the employees say. However, the breakfast restaurant staff are very friendly. Only the reception staff seem to lack the will to respond proactively. I don't think I'll ever come again.

Big and cosy rooms with a nice homely feeling. Still remember their angular windows. Very nice garden and location. Absolutely quiet and blissfull. Their breakfast buffet was very good ,even for a vegetarian like me. Loved the food and tea options.

The good thing was that the room was adequate and quiet and there were some helpful staff. Unfortunately, not all. More unfortunate is that this is where the good stuff ends. The room was not clean on arrival. The curtain was stained, the door had what seemed to be coffee spots and there was brown slush in the mini fridge. Cleaning the room was problematic for the full two weeks of my stay. It hardly happened at all and only got done properly once after I personally instructed the cleaners on what needed to be done. And then again, it all got neglected the days after that. So, no improvement either. The bathroom sink was never cleaned. Neither was the wall of the shower or the fridge. The bed top cover just gets pulled straight while the bedsheet is not even tucked in. Worse, when it was no longer clean, it never got replaced until I insisted on it. The senior receptionist did not seem interested to resolve any problems. My complaints were listened to and then completely ignored. She was only interested in deflecting and profit. My request to report the complaints to management were completely ignored. On top of that, the room was uncomfortably hot. The airconditioning does not allow for individual room cooling. The good news is that the system is being renovated and that this problem should be resolved in the near future. Some staff can’t be bothered to even try and help. It seems to be too much to ask to get even clean towels and forget about making the bed. While others go out of their way to make up for those mistakes. You might get lucky if you meet up with the right staff members at the right time. The hotel is rated as a four star hotel. But the facilities barely allow for a three star rating. There is no gym, no additional toiletries and definitely no consistently high standard staff. In general, I will never come back here again. I will not recommend this hotel for anyone planning to stay more than one or two days maximum.

On the 2nd day my room card was turned off, I was not able to get into my room, with my passport and luggage inside, because they said that I wasn’t paid the room. But it was not true! Room was paid through a Voucher. Meanwhile the treat was very disrespectful, I said “I need to get into my room”, and the answer “you have to pay” while smiling… It was really shocking to me because I couldn’t prove the room was paid but it was and they don’t care.

The Novotel in Breda is pretty typical of any traditional Novotel in lay out and what to expect. The room I had was a superior with two single beds- I had booked last minute. Comfortable and clean. Came with a fridge, tea/coffee facilities and a safe. Bathroom was clean and standard. Food in restaurant was on expensive side albeit the ribs were excellent. Special shout out to the woman server who had a massive smile on face and nothing was too much effort. Breakfast was fine. If you have time there are forest walks and marshes nearby which are really worth the visit. Not sure why had to pay for parking as not in centre of town and appeared to be part of hotel. In summary. Good Novotel with good customer service.

Good hotel - stayed 2 nights, close enough to centre and to get to Tilburg. Breakfast is good. Nice area around the hotel for walks.

Room rates showing online (Agoda) and not mentioning other extra expenses. Had to add some taxes and they even charged 7.50 Euros for parking while it is really in the middle of nowhere. Rooms are ok, breakfast ar 22 Euro was good. Stop charging extras and just put it in the advertised price.

Unacceptable standard taking into consideration how much they are charging. This should not happen in 2023. This is my 3rd stay in this hotel. Standards have fallen to unacceptable levels. Firstly, charging for parking in a quiet neighbourhood where no one will visit is criminal. Secondly, avoid at all cost during the summer period. The AC does not work and I was awake the whole night. Opening the windows did not even help. Thirdly, as an Accor member, you are treated with complimentary water. This hotel charges a whooping €6 for a bottle of water. Have travelled the world and no one does this. This is what I call unacceptable levels of profiteering. What a rip off. Never ever will I step foot in this hotel. I came here again because of past good memories and what a regret. The management should be ashamed of themselves.
