I got to the hotel after a long day on the road - the welcome was very friendly and warm and I felt immediately at home. The room (comfort) was amazingly spacious with a very nice bathroom and separate toilet. Beds were very comfortable too, but I believe that all the furniture is being changed and updated as of now. The location is great, the Chris**as market started practically outside the door and there was a very nice restaurant (Gasthaus Kornmesser) just around the corner. The station for the cable car up the mountain is also in easy walking distance, and the lake is very close by. The breakfast buffet was very delicious and well furnished! A big thank you to the two ladies who run the hotel, you're doing a great job!

My wife and I are for the classic "gypsies", we take the motorbike, we know the destination but we never book. Arrived in Bregenz, 2 hotels were full with very bad possibilities in other structures. We go to the Hotel Bodensee, we are lucky a Suite was strangely free, a room on the top floor. Beautiful, bright room with all the comforts you can't imagine. Comfortable mattresses, 3 different types of pillows. Something never seen before in the wardrobe, the ironing board complete with iron and refrigerator. From our room we had a breathtaking view of the lake. But the bathroom was the most beautiful thing, since in Austria, Germany or Switzerland the bidet is not very appreciated, the toilet also acted as a bidet, you have to study the keys a bit, but you will find it washed and dried in the end.

The first night was really loud. I thought folks in this part of the world were more reserved. Not. At 530am we actually had to say something to folks in the hallway. Breakfast was fine. Everyone, past posts, complained but it was fine. Location perfect and staff were friendly.

We booked one of the panoramic rooms. We didn't regret it. Very nice room with a terrace. If you appreciate a special room, this is exactly the right one for you. You immediately feel welcome in the hotel. The hotel is traditional, the staff very friendly and uncomplicated. Even as cyclists we were warmly welcomed and were able to park our bikes safely. The breakfast is plentiful. The hotel is very centrally located. If we come back to Bregenz, we know where we will stay.

Hotel near the center of Bregenz, nice room, good value for money, good breakfast.
The only problem is the proximity to a bar/nightclub, open until late, whose noises and shouts are a source of serious disturbance
