Bellissima struttura isolata da tutto. Camere non grandi ma confortevoli con boiserie, armadio, tv. Tutte con 2 letti singoli. Bagno cieco con bella doccia vetrata, molto caldo. Grande soggiorno con camino e tavolo comune per la colazione. Patio con tavolo e hot tube. C’è anche la sauna, accappatoi nell’armadio. Colazione compresa, dolce e salato.

One of the best bed and breakfasts we stayed in Iceland. Very quiet , secluded place, with great view. Rooms are not big, but very comfortable, clean and cosy. Incredible lounge with choice of tea, coffee and biscuits. Very friendly and professional keeper, thank you very much for your hospitality! The B+B says the checkin should be before 9pm, we were quite late, I called the owner around 9pm (appeared to be his private mobile) and he was very helpful, reassured that we will be welcomed. When we arrived after 10 pm the keeper was waiting for us and they have our names sticked to the doors of our rooms in case we would come really late. Incredible! Free Wi-Fi. Free parking on site.

Mein Hauptvorwurf habe ich schon in der Überschrift ausgedrückt: Es gibt in der Eyjar Fishing Lodge kein Abendessen. Ich bin besonders deshalb tief enttäuscht, weil ich nciht vorher darüber informiert worden war. Ich hatte ein Doppelzimmer über Booking im Dezember gebucht, aber nur den Hinweis bekommen, dass das Essen nicht im Preis enthalten sei. Weitere Kritikpunkte: Unser Zimmer war recht klein, die Einrichtung in die Jahre gekommen und die Bettdecke zu kurz. Unter den gästen war übrigens kein Angler. Das Frühstück am nächsten Morgen war gut, die Dame, die uns bediente, war sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit.

Be careful : misleading info on trip advisor : no restaurant for diner, (if neaded you will have to drive 40 km w/b) kitchen closed, jacuzzi closed, no personnel present, ... just an old b&b with very small rooms. Nine view from the living room. Breakfast with plastic packed food, nothing fresh. Try somwhere else...
