Stayed here one night in the winter. Contacted the hotel before arrival to ask for a bath tub, late check out and a dust allergy friendly room. No problem, all request were solved easily. The rooms aren't big, but they work for a night or two. The hotel has the best bed I've ever slept in. Decore wise some parts of the hotel are a bit dated. The breakfast was very good, I only missed having some newspapers to read while eating. Next to the boat to and from Trondheim. Parking right outside. In the city centre.

Independent local hotel in isle about 1 hour ferry trip from Trondheim harbour. Beds and bedlinen, pillows, duvets etc vere very comfortable. Superior views from seaside rooms, especially in the morning sunrise. Room itself was clean and silent, quite small and more or less basic. Quite long walk to some rooms and stairs also on the way, so for old or invalid people good to note when making reservation. Restaurant offered very good dinner with professional service with introduction of local rawmaterials and especially 60 different Akvavits...Also early breakfast was very good. Ferry comes and leaves right in front of hotel, so very easy to come and go to hotel. Would recommend, if ever have reason to stay in Orland.

Alright hotel. Awesome bathroom
This isn't just a hotel. It's also a municipal building. As in, the local municipality has their offices here. And it's also an apartment building, from the 3rd or 4th floors up.
The room was alright. But the thing I absolutely loved, was the bathroom.
The thing I hated, was that the interior design reminded my of something M.C. Escher created. I had a room on the second floor. So that's where I went. Turns out, there are two second floors. Should've figured out that myself. But no. Not on the first try. Because I was so damn sleep deprived.
Anyways. Decent night sleep. Awesome shower.

The breakfast is good and a good offer. The restaurant is closed and therefore you have to go out for lunch and dinner. The staff is rather unfriendly. The entrances to the hotel are not cleared of snow, either during the day, in the evening or in the morning. Even if there is half a meter of snow, the hotel staff doesn't care at all.

Mye bråk, dette skyldes renovering så det er forståelig.
Generelt et OK alternativ, ingenting som var spesielt bra eller dårlig, men synes prisen for en natt var litt høy kontra det man får.
