I showed up for my reservation after traveling from Illinois 8 hours through floods and storms just to have them say they gave myreserved room away since they were over booked.. then ******* charged my credit card about 30 minutes later for the room I never got while I was back driving in the storm. Very upset, needless to say!

Beds were absolutely AWEFUL.
Very old rooms. There was nothing in the kitchen, I guess you have to ask for pots, pans, utensils, soap???? We got in late so it was not worth the trouble.
Walls have nothing to insulate sound so expect to hear every door slam from neighbors and tv and talking from rooms next to you.
Listing showed free breakfast, which was one reason we booked there… turns out it was packaged muffins and instant oatmeal, That’s it. If you want real food for breakfast go elsewhere. I barely slept and wish I’d paid more for a place with a mattress that’s not an antique.

I did not stay because no mattress pad or cover was on the bed. Since ******* has a no refund policy, I also lost my money. Very disappointing.

Batteries dead in remote OR television on the blink. To late in evening to troubleshoot. Drain in shower had to be kept open with wash cloth wouldn’t drain properly. Obviously there had been pet of some sort in the room prior to my visit.

Waste service truck came very early (3-4am) & loudly banged the dumpsters. Stairwell construction was very loud & inconvenient for weeks, and the demolition dumpster blocked resident parking for weeks after completion. There were unrepaired holes in the walls in the closets and bathroom, both dresser faces were broken off. The coffee maker and carafe were not matched, so it would not brew, the replacement didn't work at all, the 3rd one finally did. The stove top smelled terrible when used. Housekeeping failed several times to service the room on schedule, not until I complained. Bottom weather ***** on door was missing, which allowed in cold air and leaves. Bathroom outlet did not work. Construction is old and maintenance is long overdue, and it shows. I would not stay at this location again, unless it was for free.

It was a functional room with a large refrigerator and 2 burner stove. For the price it didn’t disappoint.
