Anthony's on the Beach

We did not interact with a single human staffer for our entire two-day stay. A few issues were found with the suite - toilet keeps running (and you can hear it), oven doesn’t work. The room was otherwise decent. Great bedding. Good price. The balcony is a nice place to go see the beach at night, and all the outdoor portions seem to be in the process of being upgraded. I wouldn’t say it’s nice and I wouldn’t say it’s in disrepair either. It feels like a restoration project in progress. A comfy stay for anyone looking for good value.

This is a terrible property. Old fashioned motor lodge from the time we checked in, the lobby was dirty, room was dirty. It’s at the far end of the ***** so it’s not close to anything! Room was super small and had pictures with no frames that covered holes in the wall. Faucet was very loose at the sink and old chaulking around the shower. We had to wear socks in bed cause the floors were so dirty.. never again

I really enjoyed it I love everything . My only complaint is that it has an older smell, but you get used to it. I think we’ll use them again for or next cruise.

Room was clean but in need of repairs. Faucet wasn't working properly and needed to be replaced, lens covering the light by bed was broken, door was difficult to open and close, difficulty operating remote for the fan so just ened up shutting it off at the wall switch.

The room was clean and updated but after hour instructions were very poor. No instructions for turning on light, regulating heat and pillows were lumpy with black sheets????

First, we got to the hotel and there was no parking for us, so we had to park overnight in front of a sign that says "No Parking Anytime". That was fun taking a random chance at our car getting towed. Second, we opened the door and there was a key and a latch lock that worked up top, but the door knob didn't shut and seal the door at all. The door would just swing open if it wasn't locked. Didn't feel secure at all. Third, in the shower was a dirty rag that was used from the last guests. Fourth, we had a dead cockroach next to our air conditioner in the morning. Luckily we didn't find it before and wonder if we were going to get crawled on. Lastly, when I booked this, I had no idea this was a motel. It does have a picture with the sign, and it does say "motel" on it so that is on me. However, there is nothing in the name on the listing that says Motel at all. Will not be coming back as there are much better options down the road.

Room was clean. Upon arrival we noted a broken dresser draw, plastic pieces in the bathroom and used both the message link and email link to notify facility of what we found. We had multiple messages but every time we replied we never recieved an answer. There was no communication at all. We let them know we were checking out at 9am and an hour later received check out instructions. I ynderstand being automated but we were totally ignored.

Booked a handicapped accessible room with roll-in shower. Were assigned a room that was not accessible, did not have a roll in shower, and that had a very narrow doorway to the the bathroom that no wheelchair could fit through. Staff member claimed that they were not notified by ******* that we had booked a handicapped room, but that was false. We ended up canceling, having to pay for one night's stay, and stayed somewhere else. Rooms were small and tired looking.

There wasn't breakfast..did I miss something? I got an oceanfront room that was very nice. The only thing I didn't like is the noise from outside due to a huge sitting area in front of the 2 rooms and people hung out there late at nite. I did turn youtube on to rainstorm and it blocked out the noise. I got instructions on what to do after leaving around 830AM and I replied I was already gone. Those instructions should've been given on checkin. They were make sure the shade is up and a/c off etc. I replied back to to text but don't think they got it. Sorry we were gone and no one was there to take key so it went back in lockbox, that was the only instructions for leaving. I would stay there again as I love the ocean access and not in a busy hustle area. Right near Patrick Space Base and the awesome beaches down there!
