Pamelas Retreat

Great experience

I Picked Accomodation off Booking com,from Perth thinking this will be an good Place to Relax,on Arrival I was Greeted by Pamela who shows me into her Home and Points out that we are Renting one of her Bedrooms for the night,old A Smell other Reviews have spoken about and a General disatisfaction with what you have Purchased.Pamela makes a Request she wants to Meet my Wife as well.My wife replies,I'm not Meeting her,get your $50 cash off her and let's go.I told Pamela my wife would like her Own shower,that was an Extra $50. Don't stay here Nightmare in Bridgetown.

We liked the ability to be able to come and go as we pleased however this was over shadowed by the host watching our every move. The accommodation was clean but everything was old and secondhand. The host felt she needed to go through the accommodation every day while we were there to check on our toilet paper. She was very intrusive even to the point of pushing in the door when my husband answered to talk to me while i was in bed. We would definitely not stay here again.

Stayed in the Bungalow whilst attending the Blues Festival in Bridgetown. Pamela gave us a tour of the the dwelling when we arrived. Could not have asked for a cosier place to stay. Had all of the amenities that one could ask for in order to self cater. Stayed there for 3 nights. Bed was comfortable. I would certainly choose to stay there again, rather than a room in Pamela's dwelling. It was private and very peaceful.

Arrived a tad late...rang the bell and there was Pamela. What a welcoming host! Showed us around and then left us alone. We did have the Bungalow...recommended. Pamela did check on whether we needed more towels, There were dogs around but how friendly were they? Absolutely! Pamela does not allow them in the bungalow. I would definitely use this retreat as base to explore the southwest.

This was the worst place ever,I only spent one night there and paid for three but I just couldn’t take the smell the old linen and when one leaves to go to town she goes into your room and goes through your dirt bins ,there is no privacy The room is right by her back door there’s only one window one can look through , the pictures on the add does not agree with the real deal , I paid for one room and on arrival I was told to pay another $45 because she put me in a bigger room ,watt a nightmare!! She also said when she saw I was not happy with this deal that there is no returning of money back,! I definitely think that this Pamela’s retreat must be closed down health wise it’s dirty bugs every wear!! Please don’t support this place ,!!! Watt a big mistake!!! Never will she see me again!!
