Spent a week here after carribean cruise and had an amazing time - staff were very friendly although not quick to serve drinks in bar and found them packing up early even though meant to be available till midnight. Beach not the best but we knew this before arrival and courtesy transport to another fab beach just down road was provided 3x per week. Food lovely in drifters only had 3 course meal in Rachel's once as didn't enjoy. Chopstix was beautiful though. Soups were the tastiest and always had a kick (if you like spice you'll enjoy) hubbys fussy but always managed to eat something. Breakfasts whether drifters or rachels was buffet style and nice. Cocktails were lovely and although not on menu staff were happy to make what you wanted - only downside ran out of coconut rum on day 3 and they didn't restock !!! Also kept running out of bottled lager. Swimming pool - nice to cool down in but not deep 3ft 6 all the way and the lazy river too. Rooms were huge with kingsize bed - so high i had to take a jump to get on but really comfy - maybe need to supply steps for us shorties !!! Balcony was huge too. Was lovely to see the wild monkeys around the grounds of hotel. One thing to warn the garrison is next door to hotel so you do hear the shooting training not an issue but would nice to of been told this before hearing it on 1st morning. All in all we will be returning it truly was a relaxing week just what we needed after the cruise.

Myself and my 2 teenage kids stayed at Savannah Beach club after choosing it due to its close location to Bridgetown and Carlisle bay. Very nice hotel, with amazing staff, good food and drink, and great facilities. Rooms where clean, tidy and very spacious. We especially liked the pool bar, and that it backed straight onto a lovely secluded beach. A special thank you to Ramon the guest relation rep, who made us feel welcome and even showed us around Oistins fish fry on a Friday night. We taught Ramon the card game 'S**t head' so anyone who wants to challenge him, bring your A game! Barbados is beautiful and it was a trip to remember! Thanks again

Location is very convenient - between Bridgetown and st Lawrence gap and not too far to Oistins. The hotel is not huge and as far as I could see all rooms faced the courtyard/ pool and depending on where you were had a view to the sea. The food was excellent and the staff second to none. Everyone was friendly and went out of their way to help. The beach has eroded I understand in the past couple of years - meant you could lounge on the sand but the sea was rocky off the hotel. There are other beaches nearby for swimming and there were surfers just up the coast. We met several people who had returned to the hotel multiple times which I thought was interesting. We were there in the off season so booking the restaurants was not an issue.

Very very basic hotel. All inclusive….. much to be desired, you have to pay for water! Pay for minibar to be filled up. Food select is very basic, minimal choice. Was told by a member of staff the hotel has to save money? Beach is non accessible from hotel. Only part that is is about 8 foot wide, 4 foot drop onto sand and rocks where waves come in. It states 2 pools? Only one very small pool. It states lazy river? Just water, not flowing in any direction..all inclusive drinks? No you pay for premium drinks. Rooms are very tired, and dated back to 1980s. We’ve been all over the Caribbean, we’ve had butlers in St Lucia and Antigua where they bend over backwards for you. So much choice of food, drinks etc two weeks isn’t long enough to sample it all. Waiter service on our tables etc. moet champagne etc. we thought this resort would be similar in quality especially being in Barbados, we are very very disappointed. Found plastic barcode in my food!!!! Would not return, and definitely not suitable for people with mobility issues, young children or a wedding venue.

My friend (of 40yrs) Jacqui and I stayed at the Savannah hotel (7th time for me and 5th for Jacqui), we have been visiting as friends and with family since well before the pandemic and have always had a wonderful time, this time it was a quieter time and it still was exceptional. All the team are amazing and a very special mention of those we spent some time with, Mr Messiah GM, Ramone, Beverley, Gabi, Roger, the lovely lady on the grill, the wonderful chap who we knew from ABV (Rachels!) but everyone was lovely and very smart and friendly, service was excellent. The location of the hotel is great for us as we can walk along the beaches and boardwalk and swim in the nearby public (beautiful) beaches. The food is great, fresh and well prepared. Room was lovely with a. Balcony, all rooms we have stayed in over the years have been great. The hotel grounds and building are beautiful, lots of history. Boutique in nature. Will be coming back in May with the family and would not stay anywhere else. We love Barbados, it’s people and the Savannah family. Thank you all so much and keep well. Linda and Jacqui x

Lovely friendly hotel. Mostly positives but a few small negatives at the end of review. Staff are mostly very friendly and helpful - even the maintenance staff helped us with directions to go out of hotel. Too many names to mention but include Alicia, roger, Richard and basically all but one staff member. The head chef got to know us too! As someone who has been all inclusive in many places before this felt very different. The dining hall is not big and repetitive. It is more homely. There is an a la carte too. And there is an area to order chips/burgers/steak and hotdogs if you don’t like the choices available. At breakfast you book your dinner and the time too. We had a fabulous Holiday and would definitely recommend. The constructive criticism is that it is not clear what night any entertainment is on. It is 2/3 times a week but we only saw 2 times a week because it wasn’t advertised anywhere - not even on their website. The same for any daytime activities - again nothing is advertised. We accidentally found out about a quiz when we went to lunch. Not sure if it happened more than once. There’s an entertainment manager who is very nice but there doesn’t seem to be much clarity. There’s a DJay on a Monday that we really enjoyed and a duo every other Wednesday - they were really good. It all ends at 10pm. The all inclusive bar says last orders at 11.30 but it closes much earlier. We were in bed by 11 every night lol. There was 1 receptionist who let everybody down. She was unhelpful every time we spoke to her - but the other receptionists were lovely and helpful. Sorry we did not get her name. Overall a lovely hotel and wonderful staff.
