Island Inn All Inclusive Hotel

I did not have a good experience with this hotel. If you’re claustrophobic, then definitely don’t book. The room was small and outdated, the skin did not work and the shower was moldy. Given that I have allergies, it was difficult to sleep and they refused a refund. The room had an unpleasant odor and the bed was hard. The food was horrible! The eggs were runny and soggy and the coffee was tasteless. The property is walking distance to the beach and other hotels. Bring insect repellents for all the mosquitoes and flies on the property. Would not recommend this property, not as shown on the website.

Visit with family (adults) and had a very nice time. Location is excellent, food is consistent and good quality. Staff are very professional and accommodating, and Tre stands out as an excellent bartender and island guide/advisor. Garrison close bye, beach next door and an occasional visit from the local monkey population. We will return again 100%.

Fantastic little hotel. Staff are wonderful. Food great and we found the location perfect. This is my 13th visit to the island but 1st time at Island Inn, it will not be our last. My partner celebrated his 50th birthday and the hotel had a happy birthday table laid out at breakfast and decorated the bed and left a card. Lovely touch. Thank you for a brilliant holiday

We went for our anniversary and chose the hotel as knew it was only small, and so glad we did. On arrival we were welcomed with rum punches, very nice and taken to our room, a lovely suite near the pool. The pool is only small but absolutely fine for a nice cool down. The meals were lovely, a nice combination of buffet and a la carte, portions were perfect not out facing. There was entertainment some nights, we thoroughly enjoyed making new friends, again because the hotel is small, you tend to get chatting to other guests which we enjoyed. The location is perfect with pebbles beach just round the corner, we were able to see the race horses being exercised swimming in the bay each morning. We loved seeing the different birds, banana quits, humming birds,finches, and king birds all wonderful. There are monkeys around the hotel which were very entertaining to watch on a daily basis but not to be encouraged.

We have just finished our 10 night stay at the island inn. This holiday has been a dream for us and we have been so excited to come to beautiful Barbados. The island inn did not disappoint. From the moment we arrived we received a lovely greeting from Crystal who also helped us with our suitcases to our room. Our room was beautiful with a comfortable huge bed and lovely bathroom with a shower. There is plenty of storage space for clothes. We had room number 19 which overlooked the pool and had a lovely patio area at the front. The food here was the best food we have had while being on holiday. I couldn't fault it and will miss it very much. There is a mixture of buffet meals and a la carte meals with plenty of choice supplied for both. Plenty of vegetarian options also. The dining area at the island inn is beautiful and always impeccably clean. The staff here have been lovely with particular mention of Sherry-Ann and Sharon. These two ladies are so welcoming and smiley and we were always pleased to see them. Sherry-Ann was very helpful in suggesting the best places to visit on the island. They are both amazing at their jobs and I feel a real asset to the island inn. The hotel is about a minutes walk from pebbles Beach and about a 5 minute walk to Carlisle bay. Both beautiful beaches. Both of these beaches have places to eat, drink and also have restrooms. Also within 20 minutes walking distance from the island inn is the garrison, George Washington house, Barbados museum. About a half hour walk will take you to bridgetown. There are plenty of public transport options available also. I don't have a single negative thing to say about our stay at the island inn. We have had the best time and this hotel really is amazing value for money. We will definitely be returning in the future. Thank you island inn for ensuring we had the best time at your hotel.

Loved this hotel. The staff were fabulous. The ladies in reception always had a lovely smile to greet us, the bar staff were good company (ask for a Mississippi slide!! They are delicious), the atmosphere was relaxed and all the other guests were friendly. There are only 24 rooms here so you will get chatting! I loved not having buffet food every night, as there is a set menu most meals, except breakfast. Food was good! We went for our anniversary and we were upgraded to a junior suite (and I would pay extra for this room when we go again!) . Our room was also decorated and some bubbly left for us. Lovely surprise! All in all this is a wonderful place to stay

Our 5th visit to the island inn. As always was a awesome experience. Staff amazing, just to mention a few, tre Terry Victor on the bar. All the ladies in the restaurant, reception staff all so friendly and helpful. Room clean, beds comfy. Food was awesome and nothing to much trouble if you wanted something not on menu. This gem is a special place.

Well …. What a lovely little gem! With only few rooms everyone gets to know each other, and we made friends for life! The food is outstanding and Sherry-Ann our regular waitress couldn’t do enough for us ❤️ always ensuring the rum and raisin ice cream was on the menu! The hotel is generally quiet which was lovely and the evening entertainment was on only a few times during our stay, but was quality! The staff in this hotel were all lovely, however the bar staff were missing on a few occasions the mosquitoes however were not ! OMG we were eaten alive our room was comfortable and kept clean daily, we were by the pool and felt like we had a private pool most of the time, we were also only a couple of minutes from the beach All in all a lovely trip and would definitely recommend this place and the island, although would have to sort the mosquitoes! xx
