Hotel service is fantastic and the view from the spacious balcony is heavenly. Walking distance to Blush Cafe, a surfing school and Broadwalk, Barbados Fertility Center. You can take ZR to get to Oistins and Bridgetown. The room is very big but the desk is too high for us. If would be great if there is more kitchen amenity.

This was are second time here , we use the place as a base and eat out most nights. The staff are good and the place is clean and tidy .( that's all you really want). The only negative side we're people smoking anywhere,always nice to see the British letting the side down as normal. Would recommend hotel

The hotel is in a good location. There are a few restaurants and a couple bars nearby, but if nightlife is your thing, stay in Saint Lawrence Gap. The beach is beautiful, and the sea is calm here. They do not allow umbrellas on the beach, but there are some trees that provide some shade. We ended up walking to Savvy on the Bay or the Tiki Bar to rent chairs and an umbrella each day. The room was nice enough, but the bed was like sleeping on concrete. The best part of the room is the balcony. It's big enough to do yoga on. There is no elevator, so beware if you have a lot of luggage, or mobility issues. The average age of other guests was over 60 when we visited, so there were no kids, and it was quiet by 10pm each night. Would we stay here again? I'm conflicted. The price was great, and the kitchenette was adequate. We caught the bus ($7 US for 2) or a taxi ($12 US) each way to go to the Gap each night. Walking to the Savvy and the Tiki bar was worth it because the drinks are excellent, and the rental price is reasonable ($20 US at Savvy, $30 at Tiki but includes a drink coupon). I didn't see any other hotel that made me want to stay there instead. But don't book this hotel expecting 5-star luxury. It does have a 5-star view and beach.

A good place for families. Lots of events, and excellent staff. Beautiful views of the ocean. I do not like the policy of no cash, it's difficult keeping track of charges ( which add up. The sidewalks outside the resort are horrible, so difficult to walk anywhere. The pool seemed to be a baby sitter for all the children. Perhaps a day care or , children's pool would be advisable. No washroom on the pool deck, or beach side. Stairway to the washroom quite long and inconvenient. The food menu lacks interest.

Coconut court is very beautiful and welcoming,relaxing environment staff is very friendly welcoming and polite. Activity service is reliable if care for night life Friday's and Saturdays is the night. Airport is 15 to 20 minutes cost $35 from the airport to hotel .

First time here after many visits to Barbados and a mixed Review: Positives: Great Location on the beach, Staff extremely helpful, Beds firm and comfortable, Room facilities good. Negatives: Significant road noise all day heard from the room and also from Jake's Bar opposite playing loud music until 11pm. Despite paperwork saying No Smoking in public areas, smoking was allowed on the pool deck and around the pool with the staff even supplying ashtrays. This was particularly unpleasant especially as there were small children in the area. Non-alcoholic fruit punch was BDS 18.00 (over £7.00) and not included in Happy Hour. Overall, we enjoyed our stay but will choose elsewhere next time.
