Bad location and less service and high rate

On October 26, my friends and I dined at Pavao to celebrate a birthday. While the drinks were satisfactory, the food was inconsistent and, overall, quite disappointing. Unfortunately, the service we received also fell well below expectations. Upon our arrival, the waitress assigned to our table appeared visibly uninterested and maintained an unpleasant attitude throughout the evening. Although the restaurant manager assisted our waitress during the service, her demeanor was also less than welcoming. The most disheartening moment occurred when the birthday plate was presented. The restaurant manager placed it in front of the birthday girl in a discourteous manner, briefly said “happy birthday” without any enthusiasm, and immediately walked away. What should have been a warm and celebratory gesture instead felt dismissive. I would like to commend the bartender, Dwayne who although was forced to be our photographer for the night, went out of his way to make our group feel comfortable, and took multiple photos for us without hesitation. Pavao has a beautiful ambiance and the potential to provide a wonderful dining experience, however, significant improvement is needed in both food consistency and customer service. I strongly encourage management to conduct additional staff training, to ensure that the service aligns with the restaurant’s overall standard. What was meant to be a special evening for my friend ended up being somewhat disappointing, and I sincerely hope this feedback will be taken constructively to help improve the guest experience moving forward.

Our stay was peaceful and relaxing, Great staff, quite pleasant and the rooms were very modern and clean. Would stay there again!

Nice and quiet and safe with the beautiful peacocks roaming to give a unique surrounding. Staff very pleasant and kind and always willing to help with any queries. A very unique boutique hotel - absolutely loved every minute of my stay.

The food was delicious, and the picturesque surroundings — enhanced by the charm of roaming peacocks — added a magical touch to the atmosphere. The view from the property, especially during sunset, was absolutely breathtaking and offered a serene panorama of the town at any time of day. The pool gave us the feeling of being in a lush jungle — refreshing and emotionally uplifting, especially during light rain showers. Staying in The Carriage House felt like stepping into the elegance of the 18th century, with all the comforts of modern design. Every detail was thoughtfully curated, and the high ceilings and large, cozy bed made for the most restful sleep — like a baby in a cradle. Every meal was a delight, with melt-in-your-mouth flavors, and the afternoon tea on the patio brought joy to both early mornings and late evenings. We loved it so much, we’ve already booked again. Looking forward to celebrating our next special occasion with you soon!

What is amazing the location is beautiful. I definitely recommend the butterfly room. The restaurant is good a little pricey but the best breakfast I had was at the resort. It’s in a not so beautiful neighborhood but it’s a beautiful gem hidden
