Admiral's Table, Bridgwater by Marston's Inns

Check in was quick and easy we had a friendly greeting from Matt. We stayed overnight in a family room. The room was great with comfortable beds & a smart Tv with YouTube Netflix etc. There was a en-suite with fresh towels and spare in cupboard if needed. We was worried about noise at first as right on the main road but they had sound proof glass in the bedrooms. We didn’t hear a thing all night. Blackout curtains so didn’t wake too early. Best night sleep I had in ages. We had dinner and pudding in the pub which was good value for money and very nice food. In the morning we had breakfast which was delicious. They offer continental & fully cooked breakfast. Will 100% be returning in the future if we are in the area. Chloe behind the bar was friendly and helpful. So good with my little girl. This pub is very family/child friendly.

Comfortable hotel. Friendly and helpful staff….they were a credit to Marston’s. Bar and food were good value and much enjoyed. We will definitely return

Poor food, burnt or not delivered. Dirty carpet in room and broken shower hangar. For the price there is much bette available. Sorry

Great value for money. Room was comfortable and spacious, food & drink options were good and all the staff were very friendly. Perfect for a quick one night stop over.

The Whitbread inn was amazing, customer service on point, Felt so welcome to be there..we had a long drive and this was a perfect stop. The food was amazing. Definitely a place I would come back too. I left with a big smile on my face and my cheeks hurt with joy.

Great place for a family stay with large rooms and a great pub downstairs with a wide variety menu everyone was really friendly during our stay and nothing was to much trouble And the evening meals and breakfast were hot and fast will stay again

The property is characterful. Check in was available in advance online but you still obviously need to see someone on arrival,so I didn't personally feel that it saved any time. The room was spacious,bed very comfortable. Furniture a little bit tired. Bathroom needs attention with regard to mould in the shower cubicle. Food in the evening was ok however when we wanted to order dessert, at 8.55pm, we were told it was too late. Then there was a quick change and we were able to order some. These took just over half an hour to be brought to us. The worst part of this stay was breakfast the following morning. My husband decided to have a cooked breakfast but our two friends who joined us and myself decided on the continental option available.... Unfortunately, we were told there wasn't any fresh fruit available at all. Two of us choose porridge with golden syrup. We all waited and waited then getting on for nearly an hour later, the porridge arrived,in a branded ready to serve pot, with the lids just lifted away slightly. The cooked breakfast was ok Unbelievable. The staff that were there seemed to be looking after young children at the same time in the bar/restaurant area. Not ideal. I'm afraid we will not be returning.

Visited today with family for a meal. My brother in law is very fussy with his order but Abbey, who took our order, was very patient and nothing was too much trouble. Jordan, who took our drinks order, was also great. Can’t praise either of them highly enough. Both excellent and definitely have made me already start planning another visit to this excellent place. Food and drink were of outstanding quality
