I was staying at the hotel for business purposes and would have no hesitaiton in going back for holiday purposes.
Given the general location (i.e. close to the largest port and industrial complex in Europe) the little town of Brielle is a magical haven with its narrow streets, varied buildings, magnificent church and range of shops & places to eat.
The hotel gave me the friendliest possible reception, it had reasonable food and good beer, so was a perfect place to hide out after a hards day's work and a long journey.

Sound and noisy toilet and shower in the corridor

Reception: we were received by one of the chefs. Friendly man. The room could not be found and later turned out not to be openable. Received another room: it turned out to be a single room. Received another room that still had to be checked for cleaning and linen. For all the commotion surrounding the reception, we were offered a free drink. Accommodation: small room, dirty carpet, bed sleeps poorly and slopes, pillow too soft, shared bathroom and toilet. Window frame full of mold. Bathroom and frame also full of mold. Toilet old, but fine. Either shared, so… Rooms very noisy. Breakfast: wide choice, quality not fancy. Orange juice was not tasty. Coffee from the machine was okay.

It is a beautiful old hotel. But it was a budget room and we know that you have less luxury, but it was a room with very dirty carpeting and also in the corridors. Too bad and that for a Fletcher hotel!! BRIELLE itself is beautiful and you also have a good parking spot. Fletcher should take a look there! Good staff though. NEVER a room like that again!!
