My Brighton

Nice hotel in good location next to the Brighton Dome and short walk to The Lanes and the seafront. Our initial room wasn't great - v.small and some electrical issues and nowhere to work from with a laptop - the hotel was fully booked but the management kindly offered us an upgrade to the suite at a preferred rate which was gratefully accepted and went the extra mile to install a desk and chair which made things so much easier on our 5 night stay. Great coffee shop on the premises is a bonus. I get the feeling they were short staffed on the cleaning front, which i won't complain about as it seems to be a common problem across the UK. Overall a good comfortable stay and the suite was a good size with round bed, bath and walk in shower. A panoramic view provides plenty of light into the room. nice. Thank you

My girlfriend and I did an overnight in Brighton. My Brighton hotel was great. Location is fantastic as well as the room. The service desk was amazing as well

Hotel has a young vibe but as a 70+couple we were made to feel very welcome and had a n enjoyable stay in a lovely room overlooking the library. Comfy bed, good wifi and a friendly bar. Close to the Lanes and a short walk to the beachfront. Highly recommended

Decent sized room, if a bit spartan. Bed reasonably comfortable, but almost at floor level. Large bath towels, but what is with only one hand towel in a double room. Room safe, toiletries, tea & coffee all provided, but lacked atmosphere. Highlight was the breakfast, great value and quality served by good staff.

During our visit I had found that one window in our room had a large crack in going from top to bottom. This resulted in our rooms temperature going down and being cold throughout the night. I had not noticed the crack as it was covered up by the blind being down on arrival otherwise I would have complained at the time. I found this fault in the morning when raising the blinds.

We booked this hotel last minute for a short trip and we were pleasantly surprised. The room was quirky, we liked the unusual contemporary style and the open bathroom was definitely different. Nice and quiet despite being on a fairly busy street. All the essentials were provided, comfy bed and great service from main reception. Breakfast at the attached restaurant was very good and there’s a lovely little bar downstairs too. No complaints. Great location and good value for money!

We stayed at My Brighton from March 4-5 and thought our stay was average. Upon our arrival, we could leave our bags at the desk and check in later, as the staff were so friendly and accommodating. We were told we were in the Heaven Suite! Our room was incredibly spacious and visually very impressive, but while the design was good, the little things let it down. The room was very cold and we could have used some extra blankets, and the TV was not working at all either. The next morning, we were woken up at 5AM by lorry noise outside as this hotel is very central yet without any noise-cancelling (not very "Heaven". We also noticed an alarmingly big crack in the window, and when we let the front desk know they said they were already aware - this is a little concerning as there appears to be no action to fix this. The shower temperature was also nearly impossible to regulate. However, breakfast in Meanwhile was very nice - the food selections were great and the staff were friendly once again. I would recommend this. Overall - this hotel stay was very average. I am not sure I would stay here again without some of these issues being seriously addressed and improved upon.

Very unique in decor… reminiscent of Asian deities and a big EGG motif prevalent. The bed was comfortable and the night was largely indisturbed.

Nice central location within easy reach of shops and dining. Didn’t like the weird check in process and rooms were way too light at night. No curtains is weird.
