For 3 nights stay, hotel clean the room once and never hoover nor wipe the tables and dust. Never even changed the towels and arrange the bedding. Never even wash the chipped cups. Sorry.

A lovely hotel...very clean, bright and airy room. Friendly staff and a great location. The hotel is attached to a Bar and music does go on til the early hours but this can only be expected in the centre of Brighton! Would def stay here again

The hotel is situated perfectly, close to the lanes. Staff were very friendly. The bed was so comfortable! Very clean and tidy.
It is noisy at night, as you are above a very lively bar, but it didn’t bother us too much.

Way too noisy, and very out dated pictures used to advertise it. Wouldnt saty again and wouldnt recommend. On the plus side though, the staff were great and it was clean

The room was quite clean and warm and despite the scaffolding had the promised sea views and balcony. The staff were pleasant enough but the disco in the bar below was horribly loud which lasted until midnight, but that was nothing compared to the club next door that opened at midnight and then pumped subsonic bass into our room (10) until after 2.30am - I felt that the hotel should have told us about the noise pollution when I made the booking as it must be a situation they are aware of even to the point of supplying complimentary ear plugs, consequently I didn't feel that the room was "fit for purpose".

Great location to visit the pier. Parking is difficult everywhere in this area. Hotel is showing it's age. Bar was lively with alternative entertainment. Breakfast was terrible, don't waste your time with it.
