The hotel was quite nice in Brighton because I liked the way it was old fashioned and with two bunk beds.It had quite nice food but I think the food could be a little bit more better. The bathroom was very good at the hotel because I loved the central heating in the floor.

This is my second stay at this boho, sea facing hotel. The staff are always very friendly and helpful and the position is excellent for both the sea front and the city behind. Rooms are all different, shabby chic and very inviting. On this second stay, I had an apartment which was perfect with a small kitchen and lounge, sea facing. The bedroom was at the rear making it very quiet. Perfect.

Property is lovely, and in a great location ... within seconds of the beach and just a ten minute walk to the pier and The Lanes. The room was small (but then room category was "tiny" so I knew what I was getting!) but perfectly formed, and I was delighted to have a sea view. The girls working at the property were absolutely delightful - so friendly and helpful - a real asset. My only negative was that the sound proofing between rooms is pretty poor - I was on my own for this stay but the snoring from the room next door was as loud as if I'd been sharing.

Very comfy beds, love the Bramley toiletries, family friendly whilst also luxurious and stylish, amazing location minutes from central Brighton and very friendly staff. We brought our toddler and stayed in a comfy double with sea views and a shower/bath. It was delightful.

Really lovely, helpful staff. Good location. Negatives were that the bathroom doors didn’t close properly (so awkward toilet experiences!) and there were no hooks in there to hang up wet towels / clothes. Room was also quite warm; was able to get a fan but I can imagine it being pretty unbearable in there should we have one of our hot summers. Great coffee!

Beautiful hotel, lovely staff, delicious breakfast! Everyone was great and very accommodating of our baby too. The rooms are comfy and the art is fantastic - we took a lot of photos! Location is perfect to explore Brighton sea front as well as the city centre.

The room (Cosy Double) was very cosy, comfy and well-designed - it didn’t feel too small at all, especially for a solo stay. Well-supplied with tea, coffee machine and Bramble bath products. The staff are lovely and welcoming and the breakfast menu is excellent. The downstairs bar/ breakfast area is cosy. You are also right by the sea and only a short walk from the station. Small *******: the walls between the rooms are thin and I could hear my neighbours going out for the night, coming back, getting ready in the morning etc. If you are a light sleeper this isn’t ideal. The rooms at the back of the property look over a back street so there’s no view to speak of. It would be brilliant if the hotel could offer a dinner menu as well as breakfast.

Loved it. Always wanted to stay here and it didn't disappoint. Great vibe, lovely attention to detail, fab breakfast, 24/7 residents' bar for a night cap, and such a cosy room for 6 friends to enjoy a weekend together. Really lovely experience.

The staff at artists residence are beyond welcoming, lovely, FUNNY and make sure to make the best drinks (recommend cruel intentions) whilst also having a memorable chat. Madi who checked us in was especially welcoming/professional and ensured that we loved our room (It was for myself and my partners 1 year anniversary). I couldn't fault my now (two) stays at artist residence Brighton. In fact, i would love to move here. And the staff and the hotels location, definley have a big role in that. Simply kind and welcoming people that work here. 10/10. a big thank you to Madi, Ronny, lewis and rose and Meriko.
