After being unhappy at another chain location, I switched from my usual brand and joined Radisson Rewards for this booking, with a great rate. Arrived here from ROCHESTER International Airport by LYFT ride, not knowing how long I would be staying, or what to expect, and I was pleasantly surprised. Located in a nice area, on busy Route 31, Monroe Ave , East of the city, but still close to all major attractions, like GeorgeEastman House, Memorial Art Gallery, Highland Park, Rochester Museum and Science Center, by car, also on city bus routes. My comfy accessible room is roomy and restful, with a King bed and roll-in shower, many safety bars in bathroom. There is a window unit for climate control , Microwave and fridge in my room, and a 40 inch flat screen TV that has a sharp picture with premium channels. Room and lobby WIFI works well., except with my Apple phone. Cozy family reading area with adult and children's books and a single computer/printer business center in lobby. I was happy to find a small coin operated laundromat and a tiny gym, with two machines. Amenities include a very good hot and cold breakfast served in lobby, with 24/7 refreshment and coffee/tea bar. Spunkmeyer cookies at desk, a small convenience store for essentials, including frozen entrees. Smoke free premises, however there is an outside seating area, with wooden Adirondack chairs and a fire pit for smokers. Four Electric car charging stations make this a great location for modern savvy travelers who care about the environment. Coffee-Tea stations in room and lobby were well stocked. The diverse cheerful and helpful staff keep all common areas very clean; all of them are very helpful and accommodating . I enjoyed conversing with International guest clientele in several languages, including Japanese tourists. With rewards member rates, its a great deal and price point. Ethnic restaurants and shopping nearby, including Pittsford Plaza and Eastview Mall . I recommend this hotel to all traveler friends in this area, and beyond, including my 50,000. travel chat buddies on Facebook, Yelp, and TripAdvisor, without hesitation. When I encountered a fire, I opened the door and stood in the corridor for a while. The staff ran around, but no one told me to evacuate. So I didn't have to go out. The fire kept going. I opened the curtains and looked out. The staff who had evacuated to the open space saw me and gestured to let me go outdoors, when the fire trucks came. They did not effectively organize, supervise, and check the evacuation of guests, but the fire was not serious. On the last day, the house keeping took us away from the cups with the toothbrushes. It should be obvious that it is not rubbish, because there are toothbrush and toothpaste inside, as well as dental floss and interdental brush. And, there was no problem with the release of the previous few days. strange. The attitude of the individual waiters at the front desk was cold. Others are acceptable.

I can see they tried to rebrand this hotel but definitely went as cheap as possible....Air conditioning is old and can barely work as well as sounding like it could explode any minute......Tiny bathroom with the sink in the room outside the bathroom...I have seen this at other choice hotels but usually the bathroom is still a little bigger.....the mattress on top of a cheap black frame was a bad idea....squeaky and just super random...For $200+ a night this was not up to par and this was the first time I have stayed at a choice property for many years and will most likely not repeat this mistake again....back to Hilton/marriott for me

we have been staying at this location for the past 4 and a half years. Child was a student at RIT. school is close by, as is the highway and shopping! just like all of us the hotel is showing its age, but the staff definitely makes up for it.... always helpful and goes out of their way to make it a pleasant visit.

The room is very comfortable. Lying on the bed and watching the falling snow outside the window is a unique experience. The surrounding environment is good👍👍👍I will choose to stay here next time.

On Friday night around 10:30, a worker entered my room without knocking and told me he needed to fix the light in my bathroom. He was in there for over an hour. We had to be up at 6 am the next morning. Very scary to think he could have walked in unannounced with my daughter there alone, or when we were sleeping, etc. The lobby is ridiculously cold. Our room was 85° and we could only get it to go down to 76 over the course of two days. We will not return and will be filing a complaint about the worker entering our room. In all of my years, nothing like this has ever happened. At least I won the weekend with the most bizarre event...there were many complaints from friends staying there as well. But please watch yourself and use the extra locks when in your rooms.

There was a feeling of cleanliness and it was a good hotel. The bed was nice. There was no bathtub, but it may be due to the grade of the room. As for breakfast, there was not salad, so vegetables were not taken very much, but American hotel may be such a thing. The gym was pretty good, but the weight equipment was a bit difficult to use. We did not use pool, but it was good to look at from the outside. I couldn't find a good restaurant around. Maybe there was, but I didn't ask the concierge, so I entered a nearby steak restaurant called Mortons. I was overcharged but it has nothing to do with the hotel. Overall it ’s pretty good.

Hi. We have been to this hotel pre-pandemic and have given it great reviews. So we were very surprised to find what we did. When we arrived, we waited awhile to be greeted at the desk. Finally the employee working on paperwork at a nearby counter finally came over. Then there is the room. It was pretty awful. Grimy, damaged, stained, and just unpleasant. We had to wipe down the desk handles from the stickiness. We could not believe it. When asked if there were better rooms, the response was they are all the same. They did offer to move us, but what was the point. I never expect luxurious breakfasts at these places, but this one was unappetizing. They were out of items, items that should have been refrigerated, like cream cheese, were not, the pancake machine was out of operation and even the cover to the oatmeal was not connected and broken. I should note, the women working there were very pleasant.
