Stayed at this Fairfield on drive back home, wanting nothing more than a good night's sleep in a clean bed. The hotel is sandwiched on a sliver of land between Hwy 81 and another busy highway with lots of truck traffic on both all night. We asked for a quiet room, and were given one on the 4th floor "in the back." We soon learned that this overlooked the other busy highway, so were up till 3am listening to the roar of trucks. I guess some rooms on the lower floors are more quiet, but if you are not lucky enough to get one of those, good luck sleeping. What is Marriott thinking of, putting a hotel in such a noisy location??? Unfortunately, we did not see it when we booked, or we would have gone elsewhere. BTW, the cleaners spray some air freshener into the carpets when they clean to cover up whatever odors. Doesn't seem very healthy!
