The Barcelo Brno Palace hotel is located in the historic and commercial center of Brno the Czech Republic second largest city.The hotel is a landmark building in the centre of Brno. It was built in the middle of the 19th century according to the designs of architect Franz Froehlich.The original concept was to create a residential building with different sized rooms and a sophisticated system of staircases. Its palatial facade contrasts with the Romantic style of the interior design. The hotel is very close to the park and botanical garden Denisovy sady and several important monuments. The hotel is perfectly located at the entrance to the old town. The former palace is architecturally ingenious. The rooms are spacious and very modernly furnished. The personnel is very friendly and courteous.
The price-performance ratio is great. So it doesn't get any better.

Perfect location to explore downtown. staff was friendly.
Rooms were modern with good air conditioning and the largest and most comfortable bed I have ever found in a hotel.
Breakfast was sufficient. Not overwhelming but more than ok to start the day.
Deposit for 3 nights with more than 400 euros quite high.
to consider if you arrive by car. Public parking on site was not possible and the parking prices of the hotel are relatively high, even in the area around zones A and B the prices for parking are not exactly cheap. Parking in zone B is free on Saturday and Sunday, which solved the problem satisfactorily for us.
In and of itself a very nice hotel that does justice to its stars.

Beautiful hotel in a nice location but in our case too many broken things in the room (Junior Suite). And the breakfast definitely does not correspond to a 5-star hotel.

I absolutely loved my stay at the hotel! The hotel is beautiful both from the outside and the inside! It is recently remodeled, everything was in perfect condition and ideally clean. The hotel’s lobby is magnificently decorated; as soon as I entered the hotel, I was WOWed! The front desk staff was nice and professional, and my check-in was fast and smooth. I got a Deluxe King Room (#424), and I really loved it. The room was huge, like a studio apartment! All the furniture in my room was in great condition. I loved the room’s design a lot; I felt very comfy there. Maybe my wish would be for a big modern TV, because the actual TV in the room was small and seemed like an old model. There was a mini-bar in the room with reasonable prices. I have the same wish for the refrigerator as for the TV - a bigger size, because it was only possible to fit small cans of soda and small bottles of juice inside. The room had lights all over, which made it bright during night hours, and I can also mention a great layout with plugs all over the room. The King Bed in my room was super comfortable. I absolutely loved the bathroom, which was also very big and had a toilet as a separate section. I also have to mention the 2 sinks in the bathroom, which is very practical and comfortable if you travel with 2 or more people. A special big plus for me was having both a bathtub and a shower stall! The bathroom was perfectly designed and made! I enjoyed the bathroom amenities, which were of very high quality and smelled nice. The hotel’s Wi-Fi was fast. For my stay I paid €105 per night, and I find this deal very reasonable for the highest quality of everything I got. This hotel definitely became one of my absolute favorite hotels I have ever stayed in. I absolutely recommend this place to stay if you travel to Brno.
