Location is very good, not far from the Skye bridge, in a small town with a choice of eateries. I'm pleased I paid for the room with 'Black Friday ' vouchers and not at full price. It is definitely over priced and looking very tired in areas. Black sticky tape on the carpet in the restaurant and fraying in part on that stairs. The restaurant has some great views, but the menu is very boring and the quality of the food is not great. A few restaurants nearby serving pretty good food. All in all, felt the hotel was trying to be something that it wasn't.

BE WARNED. CHECK YOUR BOOKING IN ADVANCE TO AVOID BEING LEFT WITH NOWHERE TO STAY! I had booked a night for two on the 30 April, and received an email confirmation and had the deposit taken. We drove up to Skye from Loch Ness and phoned the hotel at lunchtime to confirm they could accommodate us in the restaurant that evening. The receptionist told us they had no record of the booking, then said the booking had been cancelled and the deposit refunded. We had not cancelled the booking. We were told the hotel was fully booked, and someone at the hotel had cancelled the booking. Also, that there was a problem at the 'back end', and that we were the second people it had happened to that week. Noone had called from the hotel, or even emailed, to tell us they had cancelled the booking. The only other places we could find as a replacement were asking £300 - £400 for a night's B&B as a late booking, which was considerably more than we'd planned on paying, so we ended up driving over 2 hours to Fort William for somewhere to stay. Double check your booking before arriving. This experience ruined our visit to Skye. I am disgusted and extremely disappointed by the way the hotel handled this.

Great location to explore the Isle of Skye from. Restaurant, breakfast and their pub right next door! We ate at the pub one night and the restaurant the next. Comfortable bed, wonderful linens and friendly staff. On-site parking but no lift for upstairs room. Highly recommended!

Really enjoyed my stay at the Broadford Hotel. Very spacious and comfortable rooms. It was extremely stormy outside but we were very warm and cosy in. The staff were friendly, especially Martin who was waiter and barman and couldn’t do enough for you. The food at breakfast and evening meal was excellent, compliments to the chef. It was so good we ate in every night of our stay. There was a bit of noise from the pub at the back on the Saturday night but it didn’t go on too long. Would definitely stay there again.

It was a lovely place to stay with amazing view in the front. Perfectly clean and comfortable. I'm really satisfied with Boardford House except the wifi which lost connection every 2 mins. Otherwise a great option to choose.

This hotel is overpriced for accommodation and food and is ran by Skeleton staff one lass doing everything herself. Stayed here for two nights. Ordered the steak and got served with a fatty lump of meat undercooked chips and one raw tomato, that's it for £30

Visited the Broadford Hotel on 15th February with friends, had a drink then meal, during the meal my husband felt sick, due to health conditions and very poor mobility, he was unable to make it to the toilet in time, there was another couple in restaurant at the time, I asked the barmaid for a mop and bucket to clean it up, the manager brought it into restaurant dumped it on the floor and the look of contempt on her face said it all, myself and friend that was with us cleaned it up, we then asked for vacuum to hoover over to be told that it had broken that day, I asked for dust pan and brush which was brought, the floor was cleaner than it was as the water was filthy, due to embarrassment my husband paid our meal and the other couple that was there at the time a total of £254.10, this was 2 separate bills, on our bill there was a service charge of £19.20, which I didn’t notice at the time, on the other couples bill there was no service charge Also my husband left £20 cash for the manager and barmaid Not once did they offer to help or ask if my husband was ok, there attitude was contentious and stand offish, which made a situation worse for my husband I just feel they could have had some compassion in a situation that could not be helped We asked if we could come for breakfast and was told it would be £20 per head as we were going round Skye in our campers, but didn’t go for breakfast due to the circumstances the previous night Will not be back to the Broadford Hotel

My husband and I spent our 1st wedding anniversary in Broadford Hotel. We really had a lovely stay and would like to thank Steven, Minna, hermano Martin and the rest of the team for making us feel special from arrival, to our meals and for the Drambuie and chocolate covered strawberries for our anniversary. We will surely come back again. Thank you so much and see you soon again.
