Second visit to this hotel whose training environment we think is a wonderful help to young people looking for a career in the hotel industry. Stay was lovely and dinner tasting menu was delicious. Checking in and out was a seamless experience which is not true of many hotels and all staff were helpful and polite. Only one slight criticism which concerns breakfast. Cups are tiny and self service nature of breakfast meant repeated trips to table in corridor to refill from a flask and get toast etc. Please consider using personal pots of tea and coffee brought to table.

The Accessible room was spacious and very clean Would suggest an extra shelf in the bathroom for personal toiletries is needed. Staff all very pleasant and helpful. We were celebrating 65 years of marriage and were greeted with a congrats card!

We bought a package (B&B+tasting menu) via Travelzoo, we had been thinking of staying overnight there previously and took advantage of the offer. The meal was excellent a 7 course tasting menu with the option of a wine flight if desired.The room was large and clean with a huge bathroom, I would suggest there was adequate room for a walkin shower rather than the bath/shower arrangement. Breakfast was a buffet with the ability to order eggs cooked sperately. rather than the buffet scrambled version. Overall we really enjoyed our stay.

Another lovely stay but disappointed in the astronomic rise in the cost of the 7 course tasting menu with wine pairings from £75 on our stay 18months ago to £130! We chose not to partake. However, great choices on the main menu and the steak was the best I’ve had in a long time.
Lighting in the dining room is poor at night and we found it impossible to read the wine list on a brown background. Most of the tables are unsteady from a poor design - we had to change tables twice at breakfast or risk losing a lot of our tea into the saucer.

A most enjoyable short stay. Our twin bedded room was a decent size with WiFi, safe,television and air conditioning. All the staff were welcoming and helpful. Breakfast was a decent spread with some chefs specials. However one part we did not find good was the hot buffet. The bacon, sausages and scrambled eggs had been left standing under the heat and was very poor. We could not understand why the kitchen could not cook a hot English breakfast to order. Ample free parking and a bar which was good but lacked a real ale on tap only larger. We did not dine in the restaurant in the evening and chose to go out to the town to one of the many nice restaurants. It was a 15 minute walk downhill to the seafront and most of the best restaurants. Uphill coming back. You could catch the frequent bus service two stops to the top of the High Street. We also thought the hotel represented good value for money. If in the future we wanted to return to Broadstairs we would not hesitate to stay at the Yarrow hotel.again.

This hotel is well run and about a 15 minute walk to the seafront, most of the restaurants and a few shops. It is spotlessly clean throughout.Our bedroom was comfortable with WiFi, a Safe, hairdryer and Iron. The bathroom was OK. Breakfast included in the deal and it was more than sufficient, The staff throughout were excellent with reception being especially helpful. As this is officially classified as a 4 star hotel, there were couple of things we would have anticipated due to its high classification. The bathroom had a bath with a plastic curtain rather than a glass panel. it would be preferable if the majority of rooms had a walk in shower. The television was small compared to other hotels we have stayed with this rating.At breakfast one of the choices was a buffet hot English breakfast. This was poor and tasted as it had been standing for some time being reheated.Surely for this class of hotel the chef could prepare a fresh English breakfast to order. Because of these maybe minor points we only felt able to rate it 4 stars and not 5. All in all it was a nice hotel and we would recommend it.

Beautiful surroundings both inside and out. Staff, despite most being trainees, were enthusiastic and efficient. The food was good but the portion size a little small but then the price was so reasonable for a 3 course meal. The only downside was the hour wait we had before we were served, which was odd as we had pre booked. We could have had more time on Broadstairs beach!

The Yarrow Hotel represents excellent value for money. Amply car parking and the rooms are comfortable. All the staff were welcoming and helpful. Breakfast included with ample choice. Located about a 10 minutes onerous hilly walk to the town centre and a 15 minutes to the sea front. We used the regular loop,bus to get into town. If we were being very picky the only minor criticisms were the room furniture had no drawers, which would have been preferable, the bacon at breakfast was fatty and poor quality and the bar sold no real,cask ales. We would not hesitate to recommend this hotel and would certainly return again if visiting the ares
