This is exactly what a break away should be, was totally relaxed and refreshed when I left. The location is fantastic with great local pubs and restaurants, and so much to see and do in this part of the country. The house and grounds are beautifully original but with all modern amenities catered for. The interior and bedrooms ooze quality and style, I can see why Brunch is in the name as the beds envelope you in comfort and encourage a lazy start to the day. Greg and Anna are perfect hosts tending to our every need and want effortlessly, professionally and gracefully. The meals they prepared were delicious and their knowledge of the area was very helpful on our forays out and about. I can't wait to return, we are already planning another visit in Spring/Summer as the gardens will be glorious.

If you're looking for that perfect weekend getaway or to escape the hustle of the city for a week then this is the place for you. Within minutes of arriving, taking in the clean air and the warm welcome, we were immediately relaxed. Each room carefully designed to make it feel like it is your own home! If you can drag yourself out of the deep baths and roaring showers then take a seat in the red room for a nightcap by the log fire. During your stay head out to the nearby Dorset coast, the fine local pubs or Boudoir & Brunch has its own bar just a few steps from the secluded jacuzzi and fire pit! The food was delicious with lots of local produce to enjoy. And with hosts Greg and Anna to make our stay just as we wanted it we wished we'd had one more day. We'll be back..soon!

Excellent accommodation and amazing attention to detail. Spotlessly clean, wonderful breakfast hamper and literally home from home. Pub and shop close by. Very comfortable and would thoroughly recommend.

Super welcoming and very comfortable guesthouse in beautiful well kept grounds near to Ilminster. Anna and Greg have created something very special with every attention to detail. Beds are extremely comfortable. We will be back!

Wonderful stay with friends at Boudoir and Brunch for a 50th birthday party. Great venue, fantastic hosts and a beautiful location. We’ll definitely be back and be staying for longer next time. We’d recommend the venue for anyone looking to celebrate any special occasion with friends and family.

As the hamlets of Broadway & Horton merge over a bridge, an easy to miss crossover leads us onto a small driveway to leave our car safely. We spy a small archway opening onto beautiful manicured landscaped grounds and we can just make out a modern orangery set for breakfast fronting a beautiful historical house. What is this place? Anna & Greg our hosts, have created a wonderful lavish retreat next to a babbling brook and small waterfall somewhere deep in the heart of Somerset. Our arrival begins a glorious and peaceful few days, much needed. Greg the Porter and Chef, room service extraordinaire appearing after a text request, noting is too much trouble whilst Anna graciously serves at front of house - as if being with old friends. We swap tales of travel and receive pre-drinks before heading out for dinner. What more could one wish for? Well the rooms, the breakfast, the ambience, the property, a tennis court, hot tub, croquet but no spoiler alerts. Just go and indulge yourselves and immerse in this wonderful sensual arena with wonderful people. Thank you both we shall return 🙏🏼 Ps the Thai Pizza at the Bell, a short walk away, worked ever so well.

What a wonderful retreat !! Just amazing host, a beautiful setting, great outdoor space, and well presented rooms too. We weee there with a group and had the whole place for the weekend, and was just such a perfect location to meet up. Great consideration for eating/diet requirements and great breakfast to finish off. Highly recommended 👍

I booked Boudoir and Brunch for my husbands 50th - I wanted a whole house but also a personal touch and to be catered for. Anna and Greg couldn’t have been more helpful from beginning with all the planning to the beautiful breakfast before we checked out. The courtyard and fire pit area were perfect for drinks (or Al fresco dining) - a real sun trap. The hot tub is an added bonus. The whole house is decorated beautifully and lots of attention to detail. There was a great selection of evening sharing platters to choose from - we went with Tex Mex BBQ and with all the trimmings - it was delicious. They catered for all dietary requirements too. We ate in the Orangery which is a beautiful bright room looking out onto a patio and well manicured gardens. After dinner we partied in the adjoining room - they allowed us to move furniture to create a dancing space so really did accommodate all our needs. Breakfast was big and hearty - just what we all needed. There were 16 of us in total so we filled all the rooms - we had Shades of Gris which was beautiful and big with a lovely large en-suite and a roll to bath in the room. Amazing watching the sunrise with a great view. I couldn’t recommend this venue enough. We will definitely be back! Thanks Anna, Greg and the team.

Just back from celebrating a friend's 50th at Boudoir & Brunch. Amazing house and gardens and a perfect venue for a group getaway. Barbeque, sunshine and cold beers... Sorted. Also really well looked after by Anna and the team, thanks for having us.
