A good size comfortable room with garden access. Breakfast was well organised and all the staff very kind and helpful.

Disappointing and does not resemble the website photos. In reality the Hotel is tired and in need of refurbishment. Our room on ground floor was functional at best, 1980s styling, pillows like rocks, the bathroom very cramped and washbasin chipped & stained.
No direct access to the Spa /Pool area from the hotel - you have to go outside in your thin robe to gain access. On a cold wet February day, far from ideal.
Spa & pool area is dark, dingy and utterly depressing. Additional £39 for access to the slightly better area - dont bother!!
Hotel staff were without exception, friendly and helpful. Breakfast buffet was plentiful, but extra cost for hot dishes.
Would we return NO … would we recommend NO

This was our first time staying a Careys, and we were thoroughly impressed. The hotel is clean and tidy and set in very pretty grounds and gardens, the staff were friendly, and chatty, but not too imposing. Parking was plentiful too, we lots of spaces. We stayed in a Roof Terrace suite, which was lovely. The room consisted of a large living room, bedroom and large bathroom, the latter coming with a sizeable rainfall shower, 2 sinks, bidet and large deep bathtub. Food and drinks were normally priced for a good hotel, we ate in the Thai resturant, and can thoroughly recommend it. Facilities were good too, Gym, Swimming Pool, Sauna and Steam Room, albiet it was all on the small(ish) size, but free to use to all guests. Towels were also provided. We also had slippers and a robe, (but I dont know if this is the same for all rooms.) The only thing we couldnt find was the temperature control for the room, and it was hot when trying to sleep. All in all, highly recommend!

We visited Careys Manor in April 2024 for Sunday lunch with our family and friends - 6 adults and 3 children. The food was excellent - beautifully presented, very tasty and we were impressed with the portion sizes. There is a children’s menu but my Godson wanted the hake - the chef was very accommodating and made him a child’s portion, which he loved. The restaurant itself is beautiful - light, airy and tranquil. The service was excellent, particularly Nikita and Angelina, who were friendly, attentive and helpful. Overall, we thoroughly enjoyed the experience and look forward to visiting Careys Manor again soon.

We had our wedding at Careys Manor and it was perfect. The wedding package and the wedding and function manager helped make the arrangements with ease. The hotel, suites and gardens are elegant. We were particularly impressed by the seamless execution of the timeline, the food and drink and the staff's support, kindness and dedication to making our wedding day perfect. Our guests have raved about the flawlessness and the perfection of the day and we owe that to the amazing team at Careys Manor. They went above and beyond to ensure that our wedding day was everything we dreamed of and more. We will cherish the memories of this day for a lifetime and we are looking forward to returning for a stay and to use the spa. We highly recommend to future couples considering this venue for their wedding to see the hotel and meet with the Wedding and Events Manager.

We held our work incentive at Careys Manor. The lead up to everything was seamless and the events team were extremely helpful, accommodating and efficient. The staff at Careys Manor are extremely caring, helpful and go the extra mile. The whole event was a huge success and this was due to the care and attention of the staff at Careys Manor, they take the stress out of everything. One of the best venues I have dealt with, so thank you so much!! You will not be disappointed. The Senspa is a must too, it's absolutely gorgeous!

We held a baby shower here for one of our family members and it was perfect. Firstly, the events team are fantastic. From the initial liasons to securing the venue and the event itself, the attention to detail and how attentive the staff were was second to none. Nothing was too much trouble and they were so accommodating. Most importantly (I feel) they were friendly, cheerful and all so lovely to talk to. The venue is beautiful, in a great location with access to lots of local places. We had afternoon tea and the food was delicious. Perfect for what we were after and would definitely have it again. Overall it was a fabulous day, the team are amazing and all of the guests were in awe as to how beautiful it was. Would highly recommend for events in the future and I’m sure this is not the last they’ll see of us!

We stayed at Careys Manor as an anniversary treat and we were not disappointed . Our room overlooking the pretty garden was comfortable, decent spa facilities and plenty of parking . The food in the main restaurant Cambium , was excellent , though it did lack a bit of a**osphere. We also ate at Zen garden ( our favourite ) and Le Blaireau both very good . Breakfast was superb . I agree some parts of the hotel probably need updating but it is a lovely hotel and the staff are the jewel . Without exception we were looked after by everyone and will be returning. Thank you to all .

First visit following many years exhausting every spa hotel in the Cotswolds and what a fabulous find. British hospitality at its best from the very first impression from a delightful receptionist. Easy car charging facilities and great spa options. On site dining options also excellent and the accommodation excellent too (we had room 2 in the main house)
