Everything about this hotel was wonderful! We stayed in the East building and really enjoyed the Maps on the walls in the gym and business center. Very interesting.
I will say, adding a child lock on the inside of the room would have been the only thing to make this stay better. Knowing our little could potentially get out made me weary. We used the bar stools against the door as a deterrent, but an interior lock, out of reach would have been best.

Check in was manual and slow, they made a photocopy in my driver's license very off-putting they said it was because somebody used a stolen credit card once. Back across the street to my room luckily I was on the back side and not facing the state highway next to the hotel. There is a constant parade of loud vehicles with semis using their compression brakes as this town has no rules prohibiting them. The room was large, sheets were thin and like sandpaper, the bed was not that comfortable. Had to use one the wash rags in the bathroom and clean the corners as there was quite a bit of grime. Dinner in the hotel lobby was okay with large portions. Wine by the glass selection is very weak. They do not allow room charges for meals so you have to pay separately because one time somebody ordered a bunch of drinks and didn't pay for them. Breakfast is not bad scrambled eggs sausage or ham and potatoes. Check out was another slow manual process and they were kind enough to shred a copy of my driver's license they had made earlier.

When we arrived, I had to search for a desk clerk. We were assigned room 414 which we later learned wasn't even in the building but was down an alley about 1/2 block away. There was no personnel located at the alternate location and to make use of the dining room or lounge we would have to walk back and forth to our room - out of doors through the parking garage and down the alley. The web pages indicate none of this. We were very displeased, told the desk clerk we were NOT staying with them and left.

A fun eclectic little hotel in downtown Broken Bow. Basically had a little apar**ent for the night. The restaurant was great too. Would recommend to anyone.
