We had long dreamed of staying in this Colonial era B + B years ago, and finally we did and were not disappointed. Marilynne the host and chef co manager Ronnie were fabulous hosts. We stayed upstairs in a large room with huge outdoor balcony overlooking the pool and rest of the house. The bed was comfy, beautiful fresh linens, lovely amenities in bathroom. The hosts were able to provide lots of information about things to do or places to eat. Breakfast was taken at a long table, other smaller tables are available, and we met and talked to other guests while a gorgeous breakfast was served. Fresh juice, plunger coffee and teas, toast, cooked eggs which varied in style each day. In the heat of the afternoon we sat and had a glass of wine while reading books on the lounge outside our room. The old colonial vibe was everywhere and made us feel "at home", such was the tranquility and service. It was a short walk to the town bus (stop )which came every half an hour, close to the airport, and cable beach a 15 mins bus ride. Taxis are plentiful for far after hours dining. After 4 days of bliss, were sad to leave but had places to go. We would highly recommend this B + B for personal attention and comfort.
