Various members of our family met in the area to celebrate my Mom's 90th birthday. My sister had selected this hotel for all of us traveling out of town to stay here. The positives are this hotel is fairly new, safe, the rooms are clean, and it is in a good location for many area sites by car. And, let me also note the people who worked there were very nice. The negatives are this hotel is right in the middle of a neighborhood. There is nothing around it that you can walk to. The free breakfast is marginal at best. The ”warm” foods were premade and just warmed up, not made fresh. And, I get so annoyed when cold cereal is in one of those containers where you twist the knob at the bottom, and your cereal comes out all smashed up in crumbs. There was nothing in the room like a pad and pencil, an alarm clock, or even complimentary water. They expect you to use the TV for everything such as setting an alarm...I am not a tech guru, and it would be nice if they had a simple guide on how to use the television! We called the front desk and the kind lady admitted she had no idea on how the TV worked. Finally, their advertised rate of $169 per night turns into $227 by the time taxes and fees are added. So, for some this might be perfect for you, but I think it is overpriced for what you get. But I again want to note friendly and safe place.
