Baymont by Wyndham Flat Rock

This hotel was convenient to what I needed. I'll probably stay there again but it's not like there are better options nearby. It could use an update though. The front desk was friendly, which was good because my hotel key kept getting De-magnetized. I think most people only stay here for one night though, and they kept making that assumption, which was weird. There was a sign saying they didn't do maid service every day because of covid. When I asked they didn't seem "sure" and the first day I said I didn't need it. Not sure if they didn't come the second day because of that, but no one came. The amenities were really small and basic. The pool seemed dirty. The water was very cloudy.

Clean room, got to stay on the main floor soooooooooooooo Nniicceeeeeee! The workers were the Bessst so king and sweet!!!!!!!! 200 characters is a lot for one night stay. I stayed with my wife while driving through the state!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I would not recommend staying at this hotel. It was unsafe and filthy. The front reception was great though.

Great and as expected for the price, convenient location for a wedding we were attending. Housekeeping in the morning was friendly and pleasant. The shower had a drip and was slightly leaking into the bathroom floor but we don't sweat the small stuff.

Everything was as expected. Breakfast was good and the room was very clean. I will return when I'm in town next.

This place is a dump, Door lock falling off the door, Fire alarm hanging from the wires, Fire hazard with splitters plugged into outlets, Phone cord covered in black sticky something, blood on the bathroom ceiling? The hot tub was not hot it was warm, the jets did not work and the color of the water was between yellow and green. The front desk staff at check in was non engaging and clearly was working a job she did not want to do. Never going back

DO NOT STAY HERE unless you're okay with rooms infested with fleas or cockroaches, dirty rooms, apathetic staff, unprofessionalism, garbage in common areas and parking lot, and being lied to when asking for and being told you will receive a discount for the state of the two rooms you had because the first one was crawling with fleas. That discount? NEVER APPLIED, despite it being handwritten by the manager on duty on a receipt printed on an old guest list so it's nearly impossible to read. We were charged the full price, which means the manager on duty lied to us outright, then stole from us. My efforts to contact Wyndham about this situation have not yielded results. I am inclined never to stay at any of their properties again.

The grounds are well kept, staff very professional and took time to know me as their Guest. The cleanliness of the room was so nice to see and even smelled clean! The towels and bedding all very clean and the bed was comfortable! Easy access to nearby locations! Expressway very easy to get to and super close. Behind the hotel is the Flat Rock Community center and it's a beautiful place! You can safely take nature walks and enjoy the wildlife and beautiful grounds.
