This is a basic hotel fine if you want a no frills stopover for a night. The room was spacious and although described as 'modern', was the least modern of our five week European trip. The balcony overlooking the river was nice. There is a problem with parking as there are not enough spaces for guests, which some other reviewers mentioned. We had to walk the street through a storm when returning in the evening as there were no car parks available. Afternoon tea is provided but no hot water for tea drinkers, only coffee. The meals were not to our taste, but that is a personal preference.

We’ve been to this perticular restaurant twice and twice the visit was perfect. Lukasmayr is located in the center of Bruck, therefore you can find it easily. When you sit and enjoy your Eiskaffee, you can watch the streets of Bruck or Salzach. The staff is really friendly and helpful. So far one of my most favourite Cafe’s.

Everything ok, we were there for 8 days recently. Staff is friendly and does their best. Good food! Building and furnishings quite outdated, need an update. A chaotic parking lot that is actually too small. A cat also regularly walked over the cars at night, fortunately without damage to our car, just muddy paw prints each time. We will visit again in the future.

We were travelling as a group and had reserved different rooms. The reception was not particularly hospitable, but OK, you are not always in the best mood, I can understand that. The rooms are spacious, the balcony overlooking the river was also large. But you will look in vain for a minibar and a free bottle of water. At breakfast you have to find your assigned table and you cannot have breakfast with the people you are travelling with. That may be OK if you only have one room, but it would be normal for a group. We were told very rudely to sit at our table and not change. We did not eat in the hotel, so I cannot comment on that. Nevertheless, we enjoyed the breakfast and the lack of attention to detail was noticeable. Instead of fried bacon, there were indefinable slices of meat sticking together floating in the oil and the scrambled eggs were 100% from the day before, even the worst cook could not make them that dry. The toaster was set in such a way that the toast fell out untoasted and on the wrong side. The display of meat and cheese was what you would expect to find in any average hotel. And finally, a word about the parking situation: when we arrived at 9 p.m., the parking lot behind the hotel and the few parking spaces in front of it were already full to the last square centimeter. There are hardly any public parking spaces in the village itself, only those of other hotels. No one in the hotel felt responsible for helping me because the reception was already closed and the staff had made themselves comfortable in the restaurant. I lost almost an hour looking for a parking space in the village until I found a somewhat legal parking space, only to find that some of the cars in the best parking spaces in front of the hotel were occupied by hotel employees.

We were there for 5 days and it was a very old room. I would give it 2 stars but because the food was so delicious I would give it 3 stars so 4 stars. Overall: It was OK. I recommend booking a newer room, maybe it will be better then. LG From Germany

The people running the hotel were fantastic and accommodating. We spent two nights there and really appreciated its location, charm and family friendly orientation. Fabulous terrasse to enjoy a small town feel day and evening. Would certainly return.

We stayed for 1 week on a family tourism trip. The location of the hotel is good for exploring the many interesting places nearby. The spacious and comfortable room looks recently renovated. The mattresses are very comfortable, if anything the bathroom is a little dark and the pillows are low, but that is a personal opinion. We went with the MP+ plan: breakfast and dinner buffet, snack is served at 3:30 p.m., but we were never at the hotel at that time. The breakfast was very good: scrambled or boiled eggs, sausages, bacon, 4 or 5 kinds of cheese, 2 kinds of cold cuts, a wide variety of breads, fruit, yogurt, 4 kinds of cereals,... 2 days there was smoked salmon. To be 3 stars, the dinners were more than adequate, I expected a menu, but no, there were quite a few options at the buffet: 2 kinds of soups, salad buffet, at least 2 hot seconds, usually meat, with garnishes of vegetables, potatoes , rice,... 2 kinds of cakes, fruits, ice cream. So more than enough. The hotel management is familiar: the reception staff is close and helpful. Restaurant staff a little colder but very professional, they made an effort to serve us in our language. The only negative thing that I highlight is that they only put 2 bottles of gel in the bathroom, for 4 people for 1 week. I guess if we had asked for it they would have given us more.... but we solved it by buying gel at a nearby supermarket. So overall, good. I would return.

We didn't stay in the hotel, we only ate there. The red wine was inedible, the pasta was a total disappoin**ent and the Kaiserschmarrn tasted of old fat. It's a rip-off to charge such excessive prices for a dinner like that. You definitely can't cook here. A no-go these days.
