The receptionist was friendly and sincere. If you are staying at the hotel on Saturday, there is a street market style market in front of the hotel. Dishes, bags, clothes, jewelry, flowers, etc. It was a nice experience.

Very friendly, the rooms are comfortable and clean. Very pretty designs in front of the elevators make going up and down more welcoming. The staff is friendly and gives good addresses.

Lovely small boutique hotel in the centre of Brugge. Warm and cosy, we stayed two rooms, a family room and a double. Location is absolutely wonderful. Modern and chic interior, very tastily designed. Despite it being in the centre of the city, our rooms were quiet. Would definitely go back!

Hard to park, saw a hair on the bedding. We received a broken bed in a room with 2 queen beds (technically not 2 queen beds, each queen was made by 2 twin beds combined, so 4 twin beds total, one of the twin beds was broken). The hotel was like: can’t give you any refund because you book from *******; room is alright to sleep 3 people so the broken bed doesn’t matter. They offer a discount for next stay, but we don’t have a plan to visit bruges again.

Nous avons séjourné à l'hôtel Portinari pour un petit week-end en amoureux à l’occasion de l’anniversaire de mon mari. Nous avons été ravis de notre séjour. Le personnel de l’hôtel est très agréable. La chambre moderne et impeccable. Le déjeuner offrait un large choix avec des produits de qualité. L’emplacement est idéal: l’hôtel est situé à deux pas d’un grand parking et permet un accès facile pour explorer la belle ville de Bruges. Nous reviendrons!

The toilet arrangement in the room left a lot to be desired.
The toilet had an opaque glass door and was situated level at the head end of the bed.The toilet area was far to small for any hope of comfort or privacy. Rest of the room was good.
Tall lady receptionist was extremely helpful with a slight emergency and went above and beyond the call of duty
in dealing with our problem. So well done Portinari

Loved loved loved. After ditching my hotel just down the road before I’d even checked in, I did a quick review and found here as it was greatly reviewed, still in the same area and I had to find somewhere! I’m so happy I did. The staff were wonderful on check in, friendly, helpful and welcoming and even upgraded me to a new room as I’d been let down by the previous hotel. It’s closely located to everything, but that’s just Bruges, but it’s clean, bright, airy and comfortable. Breakfast was incredible, and ALL staff are the loveliest and most welcoming. It’s a shame it was 1 night, but I’m booking to come back with partner soon and have also told friends to choose this hotel. It’s so reasonable in price too. Thank you!

Rooms are very modern. Perfectly situated just seconds from bars and restaurants. Only a 5 minute walk from the main plaza area. Staff is very friendly. They even helped us out when we made a mistake with our booking. Can’t recommend it enough.
