While the receptionist was helpful in guiding us through the parking and entry process, there were some areas where the hotel could improve. Cleanliness left something to be desired, with remnants of paper towels on the mirror and a dirty spoon at the coffee machine. Additionally, a broken trash bin in the bathroom was aded to all this. The solid soap in the bathroom was very funny, impossible to rinse off from hands. Technological amenities were lacking, as the TV didn't support casting from mobile devices or offer popular streaming services. The aging air conditioning system and its malfunctioning keys added a touch of frustration to our stay. Noise from the nearby terrace occasionally disturbed our peace and quiet, but it wasn't unbearable. The wellness center, while advertised as a highlight, had a limited selection of facilities, and the cushions on the relaxing chairs had water stains. The sauna did not have a water bucket either. Despite this, the hotel's bar provided a pleasant atmosphere. Overall, while the location and breakfast were enjoyable, there are areas where Dukes Arches could improve to fully live up to its four-star rating.
