The facilities are a bit old, but the city view room is very beautiful after opening the window.
The bathroom is very large with a bathtub and a separate shower room, which is rare.
There is plenty of hot water for bathing.
The breakfast is good with a variety of options.
It is very quiet in the morning and the room is well soundproofed.

This hotel used to be a royal palace, and the decoration in both the lobby and the rooms is very beautiful and clean.

My favorite hotel in Bruges, I stay here every time I go. Like a small castle, people who are not familiar with it think it is an attraction. The hotel breakfast is also good and you can order omelettes. The restaurant in the hotel is also okay. The price is not cheap but it is acceptable in Bruges.

Second stay at the hotel.
The room wasn't quite as big as previous stays, but it was clean and had everything we needed.
The hotel itself is beautiful, great service and the breakfast is one of the best I have ever had at a hotel.
Of course it's not a cheap stay, but for a 5* it's very well priced and I will definitely be returning again.
The only thing I would comment, which is a very particular observation by me, is that tge complimentary toiletries are not branded. It would be nice to have L'occitane, Molton Brown or Elemis especially in a 5*.But as I say, a very lovely hotel and it won't be my last stay
