Very homey and clean. The hosts were wonderful; warm, hospitable, friendly, provided everything needed for a comfortable stay and really good ideas for getting to know the town. If you want to feel like a local, this is the perfect place to stay.

The owner provided us with outstanding service/ Excellent breakfast, very responsible. gave us very helpful advice. the limitations: no air conditioning, the room is stuffy at night if you have to sleep with the window closed.

B&B Emma was one of the highlights to our trip to Belgium. Leen was so friendly and helpful, and the room was perfect. Everything you might need is in the room, incuding a plug-in mosquito repellent. A kettle and delicious teas from a local shop were also in the room. The bed was super comfy and the house was really quiet, with only the churchbells to lull you to sleep. The house is a short 15 - 20 minute walk to the centre and there are even a couple of restaurants local to the B&B (one across the road) and well off the tourist track. We stayed two nights and would love to go back!

Lis, the owner, is lovely and she provides you with a walking tour map of the old city marked with highlights. She pointed us in the direction of some hidden gems we would otherwise have missed. Some down sides - if you come by train, the B&B is on the opposite side of the old city so you need to take a bus (easy access if you drive). It's a 15 minute walk to the heart of the hold city, but it's a beautiful stroll. Cars on the cobblestone streets in the morning are noisy. This is a "B" not a "B&B"- that is, there is no breakfast, and it's cash only, no credit cards taken and finding a cash machine in town is not easy.

There is no question that Bruges is one of the great cities in Europe. The problem with great SMALL cites is they become overrun with tourists and the noise that comes with it. One of the pleasures of staying at B&B Emma's is you can walk 6 blocks and be in the heart of the city and return back to what is essentially a local quiet neighborhood for the evening. Your host is very accommodating and points out a local restaurant that is reasonable in price and serves good food. Finally, we arrived in the city by train from Antwerp. The city provides a free bus that can be used to get your accommodation or at the end of a long day in the city back to your accommodation. This is a very reasonable choice for your stay in visiting Bruges.

Schattig kleinschalig; je voelt je een welkome gast bij Emma en wordt getrakteerd op speciale attenties bij ontbijt en uitleg van Brugge waarbij je ook gewezen wordt op de niet-toeristische plekjes. Gratis parkeerplek op paar minuten lopen, ook met laadpaal.

Wij hebben een goed verblijf gehad. Kamer was schoon. Locatie is ideaal, op loopafstand tussen het centrum en de gratis parkeerplaats. Door de gastvrijheid en kleine extraatjes zoals een kaart met wat locale tips, geweldig ontbijt, hebben wij ons zeer welkom gevoeld. Een aanrader!

Leen and Jimmy were excellent hosts. They were easy to contact ahead of time and during our stay. They were very accommodating with our late arrival. They answered all of our questions and showed an excellent knowledge of the area and the best things to do/places to visit. There are 2 bedrooms total at this B&B. The room was exactly what we needed; a clean place to sleep, shower, in-room bathroom, enough room for our 15 month old's Pack-n-Play. and a 15 min direct walk into the very center of the Old Town. The surrounding area is paid parking, but Leen and Jimmy will point you to free parking right next to the Police station, 7 min walking distance. We were able to easily drop all our items off at the B&B before going to park the car. Do make sure to bring cash or ATM card, as they don't have a credit card machine. Overall, VERY satisfied with the entire trip, thanks to the hosts. Will definitely bring back visiting family and friends.

Lovely B&B situated in a quiet neighbourhood but only 13 min walk to city centre and all local attractions. Our host was very welcoming and friendly and was extremely helpful. I would definitely stay again and recommend for a stay in beautiful Bruges
