Dukes' Arches Brugge - by Dukes' Hotel Collection

So pleased we found this gem of a hotel. Ideally placed for wandering around Bruges, we were able to store our overnight back in the luggage store, then explore before check- in opened. We were warmly welcomed by all staff whenever we had interaction with them and the service was very efficient. We stayed in room 002 which was located through the car park, but was nicely tucked away and quiet….. other than being able to hear the coffee machine through the wall of the breakfast room! It wasn’t a problem though. The room was spacious and had all amenities you would expect to find. The bed was comfortable and air con is available. We did request a double rather than twin, but had two beds pushed together with a single quilt each. It wasn’t a problem for us, but not what we asked for. We didn’t mention it, but I’m sure if we had they would have sorted it. The shower was good, and teas & coffee is available in the room. There was a fridge, but no milk. I’m sure you could ask for milk at reception if desired. All areas were exceptionally clean, and we did check out the spa, but it’s a bit dingy in the basement. Shame not to have a pool, but there is a small gym for those who need more than the extensive walking you’ll be doing when exploring Bruges itself! We did consider parking at the hotel, but they wanted us to leave a key and access is tight! We have a large car, so decided to park on Bevrijdingslaan, one of the free parking areas just a short walk from the hotel. Other car parks are available, but we were able to leave our car here for free overnight. The hotel were very helpful prior to our stay in advising the closest car parks to the venue.

The hotel is very well located, in the centre, a step away from everything. We had the Fort Lapin room with terrace. The cleaning, and maintenance leaves much to desire. The gardens of the room are to change them. They have a manchor of about 20cm all the length they are about 3 metres more or less. The hotel was very comfortable and the hotel was very comfortable. In addition to having the fairly small stairs (my wife has 39 and he went out half foot), in the bathroom, there is a bathroom and shower, the two pads were crying through the board. One of them was ”repared” with fixed... For us, this is already personal, the kitchen lacks a microwave. Needable if you travel with a baby. A pity, because with a little more care would be an ideal site. A greeting

I booked a last minute deluxe room for a WE with my wife. Stayed there several times before but this was the first time in five years. I received a top floor (5th) room overlooking the swimming pool, harbour with partial seaview in the newest part of the hotel. The room and bathroom were not particularly large but modern and with improved design and furniture, all by all big enough with a comfortable bed. Only a shower in the bathroom (as it is usually in newer hotels). The large balcony was great with wooden floor and could fit two lounge beds. We did not not take the breakfast as we were not impressed in previous visit and found the buffet to be expensive, however we did have dinner on the poolside terrace, the menu is not big, but we found the food to be delightful. The staff were very friendly and helpful. On top of all, the weather was great. We will be back!

We stayed here with Riviera Travel. This budget hotel was as expected, the rooms were cosy and compact yet had everything you need for a three day stay. Breakfast was adequate, a little bit of a squeeze getting all our tour party in the breakfast room. What I liked: proximity to town centre, quiet location despite there being a fairly busy road outside. What I disliked: the towel radiator above the bath meant there was nowhere comfortable to rest your head! Lumpy pillows made for an awkward night's sleep. It served it's purpose but I wouldn't book this hotel as an independent traveller.

The room was exactly what I expected in the pictures. The large crystal chandelier is more than 4 meters high. Perfect temperament. In the city center, you can come back and take a rest when you are tired from shopping. There is a delicious restaurant opposite, and you can enjoy the street view when you open the window. The only drawback is that the air conditioner is too cold and there is no outdoor breakfast area Overall very satisfied

great location! rooms were modern and well kept. swimming pool was a love it or hate it situation since if u are swimming alone, it might be a bit gloomy but if u are with friends, could be fun with the cave feel. would definitely recommend it. it's so close to the main square! they have parking space too.
