Rude upon check difficult to get into room not very convenient to food

First night-one of my keycards wouldn’t work. Second night-other keycard wouldn’t work. I was locked out all night. No one in office after 11. I called-no answer. The next morning-she was amused. Gave me another keycard, didn’t work. She said the battery in door lock must be dead. I didnt get a refund or a credit. I slept in my truck but that didnt matter. I was appalled at this. The bed was also not a king. It was maybe a double with three small pillows to make it appear to be a king. The tv didn’t have an HDMI port so i was unable to connect my Roku. One of the lightbulbs was blown. Overall-very disappointed.

Good price, but not so good accommodations. Owners were very nice and personable and most accommodating, but the room? Well….Toilet not secured to the floor. A ***** light hanging on wall in place of the permanent one. Crack in tv screen. AC/Heating unit provided NO heat, but they did have separate baseboard heat, I rarely write reviews, and when reading them, I take them with a grain of salt. Definitely not the best motel room I ever stayed in, but probably one of, if not the worst.

Booked this hotel after searching for "pet friendly hotels near Brunswick". Spent 5 hours driving from MA in a traffic jam, to arrive needing a restroom. No restroom in the lobby. Next the desk clerk says to me "how many guests". I replied "just me and my dog". She proceeds to tell me that they don't take pets at all. After explaining I had searched for Pet Friendly hotels and this one came up, she says "well 2 and a half years ago, they probably were, but we are not now". I said "well maybe you should consider changing your on-line presence to reflect that". She said "what do you need to do with your dog? I can go ask, sometimes they will accomodate" I said "he'll only be in the hotel room long enough to sleep with me. We will be gone from morning to bed time both days". She comes back and says no, we don't take pets at all.
