Ibis Brussels Centre Gare Midi

I received an invoice by email on the morning of my departure, which indicated I had been charged twice for breakfast, once at the time of booking and once on arrival (which I questioned as I believed I had requested this when booking, but I was told not, so I paid). Despite this, on the second and last day of my stay I was refused admission to the restaurant for breakfast as I was not on the list, even though my keycard (see photo) clearly stated I was registered. Reception could find no record of my payment! It was only when I confronted them with the emailed invoice that they provided me with a voucher. The delay in sorting this out - compounded by one elevator being out of service during my stay, and the one remaining struggling to cope with demand (see second photo) - left me with insufficient time to eat much. Trying to sort the matter out afterwards with the hotel management was a frustrating process. Great location and clean room, let down by lousy administration.

Its very near from Brussels midi station. It was the main reason to book here. If you have train and dont want to move a lot, this is good choise..

I stayed in ibis Brussel midi only 1 night. I got really good service from staff. There are several services provided in hotel, including bar zone and common space. Moreover, it’s very close to the midi station and market, thus it is very convenient to stay. However, it takes only 15 minute from other attractions if you wish to walk. I recommend to stay here.

It’s more convenient to stay for travel

I only stayed for a few hours, just before my night flight, but the location was good because of the connections to the airport. The hotel looks a bit old, like it's from the '90s, but the quality is still good. No complaints, just as expected.
