The limitations of staying here are not the fault of management, but they're worth noting. First, because it's an old building, you will receive one - and only one - set of keys to get into the main building and then into your room. This can make it challenging when traveling with a group if you wish to split off from each other, or if somebody wants to return to the room early. On the other hand, the neighborhood feels a bit sketchy at night, so a buddy system is a good idea. (Violent crime is rare, fortunately, but pickpocketing can be a problem, according to some locals). The other issue is the nearby train, whose squeaking gave me the urge to spray WD-40 on the track! If you can get past these hiccups, the accommodations are clean and beautiful, the beds are super comfortable, and our view was stunning.

Very beautiful antique house. Good check in Very good location We were a group with two rooms. I was in an upstairs room with our group in a downstairs room. The worse part of the room was that there was a curtain in the bathroom that didnt reach the floor and our group downstairs could see us using the toilet. And most likely the person watering his garden right outside the window also. Also the wall was dirty and stained. There is a train track right outside the window with frequent trains. The shower door is transparent and with my friend it was necessary for the person who was not showering to leave the room. The elevator door did not open from the inside . One of us always took the steps to be able to open from outside.

Great Service and Accommodations
Excellent accommodations. The house is one of Brussels oldest standing houses and has an interesting past which is seen throughout the house. The location is perfect; short walking distance to the main square in old town and not to far from subways. Marc the owner is amazing; goes above and beyond to insure you have a great stay. Had top of the line coffee in the room along with a welcome gift. Lots of restaurants and things to do a short distance away by walking in the direction of the main square and center of town.

This property was beautiful and spacious. Even better than in the photos. It was conveniently located within walking distance to the main train station and city center. We never needed a car or taxi. The beds were comfortable and the shower was warm with good pressure. The host was very thoughtful to leave a basket of treats and coffee for the Nespresso. We highly recommend this property and thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

Fantastic
For a few hundred years, this place has exsited as a legendary place. I was so honoured that I could stay here. Kind people, fruits service etc everything was fantastic. But Im little bit sad due to neighbour area is not very lovely and desirable. However, people and service everything was soooo memorable and wonderful!
