Front desk associate that checked me in was rude and very condescending. A simple hello or better yet how are you doing tonight would have been nice rather than saying “ID?” I asked her to connect my Hilton honors and she told me “they don’t do that”. Not the friendliest.

The lady running check in around 8pm last night had a rude attitude. The lobby was pretty rowdy with college kids which may have been contributing to her bad attitude, however no reason to be short with a guest checking in. The noisy lobby wasnt an issue for me, room was quiet..I couldnt figure out what was going on in town for the hotel to spike prices seemed a little pricey for such a basic room.

We have stayed multiple times at this property but last couple of stays have been terrible. We thought last time was an anomaly but this time was even worse.
Starting from check-in to check-out. The front desk staff was very unprofessional and rude. The room smelled like a goat lived there. There was only one bath towel and one hand towel. I had to do down to bring more to the room. I was told by the same lady at the front desk that if anything else is missing cone down at get it yourself. I asked if the room was serviced - her answer was - she does not know. She does not work in house keeping. She was the only staff on the property.
Based on our last tine's experience at the breakfast bar and how the room condition was this time, we did not take chance on breakfast.
We will definitely not staying here anymore.

I was really impressed with this hotel which we had chosen as a cheap stop off on the way to Waco. It’s recorded as two star but I definitely believe it’s higher than that. For Brits, it’s akin to a Premier Inn, but with a breakfast included. The rooms were large, clean and comfortable with some clever use of desks and space. I really liked the large shower. Only a couple of minor negatives. The lady on reception when checking in was not welcoming at all and barely said two words to us. Hopefully she was just having a bad day and it was a one-off. Secondly, the coffee and hot water in reception was tepid so could do with being refreshed more often. Overall I was really impressed though and wouldn’t hesitate to book a Tru hotel again.

Staff and property were “ok”. The first issue was that our room did not shut, we could push the door open without a key or using the handle. After informing the staff, it was obvious they were aware. We were moved to a new room only to be woken up by someone else attempting to open the room, because they were given our room. That was pretty scary, but thankfully we had it double locked and neither family was further shocked. Breakfast was not the best, but not horrible. It was clean and quiet, just wish we wouldn’t have had security issues.

Staff was amazing breakfast amazing, beds kind of rough but pillows made up for it, not very much room to walk inside of room also bathroom was kind of weird, we were missing the complete bottle of body wash also someone left a rag on the showerhead, also shower door had massive gaps and let water out all over the floor. Overall the staff and breakfast (pancake maker) made us a future repeat customer.
